    • Yes - it was probably just some irritation.  If the redness had gotten worse, a doctor would probably have helped. As long as it improves, you're good.
    • I looked again this morning and saw some of the pinkness is gone from one corner of the eye but I have a red spot, probably where I've been rubbing. I need to stop it but my vision hasn't changed. Is this good?
    • So a couple of hours ago I noticed some discomfort and wateriness in my right eye. My vision is fine and still is for the record, but when I went to look in the mirror, one side of the eye is reddish pink and the other side not so much. It's not so much pain as in severe pain but more of an annoying "this didn't use to be here" kind of thing but the redness and such is what's tripping me out.  I do have HBP but I don't know if that hurts or helps me. It gets better with compresses but I need to know if it's something I need to worry about. The discomfort/pain is on the side with more redness, I think it could be a burst blood vessel but IDK what could have done it aside from maybe sneezing or rubbing it wrong.
    • WIth a bruise, it's not really the clotting.....the blood kind of disperses.  It will actually turn red, then green and yellow.  It doesn't clot, which is a good thing.  They might be concerned that it isn't clearing, but I would bet there is a medication or cream to help. With anxiety, we need to learn what is worth worrying about - filtering out what we can change versus what we can't.  In your case, you went to the doctor with a legitimate concern.  That is good - you stepped up and handled the anxiety correctly.  It's the unknowns that we have to work, because it is easy to make things bigger than they should be and worry about it.   Then......when we are better at handling things, we go through a stage where we worry because we aren't worrying like were used to anymore.... I get the nausea thing - that's me to a T.  When I had moderate to severe anxiety (and I had PTSD levels in 2004-2005), I remember going a whole day eating half a Wendy's value meal....and only drinking half of the soda.  I was afraid to eat anything more that day.   Dehydration could have easily been an issue.  It's hard to get out of the cycle of thinking, but we have to do it.  Eventually, you will get your appetite back.
    • So it’s not that the bruise hurts or anything it just won’t go away! It’s been 14 days and takes up my whole top of my foot and ankle! I went to the er and they did blood tests, tests for clotting, and few others and they all came back normal! I have to see a podiatrist on Thursday (feeling a bit nervous) but my nausea with anxiety just won’t let me eat I mean it can go on for weeks and nobody understands! But I am not one that can afford to lose not even a pound! Just wishing there was ways to help! I been dealing with this for about 25 years but as I get older it gets harder on my old self 😂  thank you so much for reaching out I appreciate it
