I can never sleep. I will try... just laying down and closing my eyes makes me start panicking. So i just get back up. And that is my every night. I feel so much safer being up and alert. Wish i could feel safe relaxing laying down.

I get these all the time- I was so convinced they were really bad spider bites but my doctor and later father-in-law and sister-in-law all confirmed they are hives, most likely from stress/anxiety... Witch Hazel helps me a lot

I LOVE Big Brother (can't wait for it to start here in the US next Wednesday!) My random guilty pleasures: Hollywood Medium, Days of our Lives, Jeopardy, and anything on ID Discovery.... will definitely watch Kardashians or Teen Mom OG if I see them on

Thank you so much, I ordered it on Amazon and should get it soon!

Hi Brit, Just wanted to let you know that I am so sorry you got bit and that you are having trouble sleeping now. It is completely understandable! The good thing, I think, is that you went to the Doctor and they are monitoring it. Try to know you are in good hands, but I know you are scared. I can definitely relate to being too scared to sleep. Sending thoughts your way for relaxation and restful sleep! You are not alone. XOXO

Thank you, Mark. Yes, that is kind of what I was gathering from my research last night, was I had to get the right kind.

Thank you so much, Gilly! I was just reading about magnesium last night- and the side of effects of the supplements don't sound great- so Epson Salt sounds wonderful! It's crazy, I've never bought it but one time I had severely twisted my ankle and was hobbling around on crutches into a local market. The owner, who barely spoke english, took one look at my foot, went in the back and brought out his own box of Epson Salt and managed to explain I needed to soak my foot in it. It really helped reduce the swelling. I will definitely need to try taking a whole bath in it! I am so glad I found AC through you! Thanks for such a great community.

I am so sorry for your loss, Gilly. Sending lots of love and strength. (Full disclosure- I found AC from following your story these past few weeks on another site. You have really been an inspiration.) Thank you so much for the advice. I will need to ask my doctor about amitriptyline. I currently take Prozac and Xanax, but am needing to talk to my doctor since my anxiety and agoraphobia are really getting out of control lately. Next step will be getting the courage to make an appointment and go! How did I get so weak?!

Thank you all so much for your posts and support- such a great forum! Having a bit of a rough night. Blah. Anyone have advice about lockjaw/grinding teeth? I have a mouthguard for night, but it doesn't seem to help at all. My jaw is hurting so bad from locking. I can't relax it.

Brit, I am so sorry you are going through this. I am brand new and am generally bad at advice, so I don't want to pretend to know what to tell you. I just want to let you know that after reading your post I thought- she shouldn't quit or even tell her boss- she should kick ass and show those jealous biatches how stupid they are. You sound like an incredibly smart and amazing young lady and I just wanted to send you support and strength.

Hi Cortney! Thank you for the reply- I am glad we both joined! (P.S. I am home and still alive, had to rely on xanax, but made it through)

Flying for the first time alone tomorrow.

I am a brand new member and am flying tomorrow- so this thread caught my eye. Cutecat- I hope your flight went well! I love your suggestions Kylie! I really like the suggestion to take the time to be proud when you get through it. I just flew here on Thursday and am flying home tomorrow. Thursday was really hard, but I didn't completely melt into a puddle and made it through- I just never consciously acknowledged it after. Thank you for the great advise. -
You all are so sweet! Thank you so much for all of your posts. I have poked around a bit and am so happy I joined such a supportive community. I will definitely be looking around more and hopefully opening up more. I guess tonight my most immediate issue is that I will be flying tomorrow, which flying itself doesn't make me panic, it's all the people and security and timing and stress and anticipation, etc. I can never sleep before I travel, which just makes my anxiety worse. But, I am flying HOME, so I am trying to focus on that- tomorrow at this time I will be home. I noticed someone else posted something about flying earlier so I am off to read. Thank you all again so much!

Thank you both so much for the warm welcome!
