  1. I don’t know why you struggle, but I do the same. I filter through a few various diseases, but I also end up back with some sort of female cancer or melanoma. I got preoccupied with leukemia/lymphoma for a bit. I think sometimes for me, once I realize the one disease isn’t likely I cycle to the next.
  2. Posting here to remind myself that Google does not help me. I know this. I do, and yet I Google and lose my mind.
  3. That is totally me too. I try so hard to sort that out, but still can’t set it aside.
  4. Thank you, Jessi! I hate how these physical symptoms can manifest. It drives me mad trying to sort it all out. It is so exhausting and scary to know. Health anxiety is often the worst. I am trying to trust my doctor, but it is so hard. I am ok momentarily then panic thinking he missed something. I hope that your ultrasound goes well and you get relief and peace from that!
  5. I just found this post because I’m freaking out pretty badly. I have those shooting pains and let down feelings. I haven’t nursed in a couple years now. I had a reduction seven or eight months ago. My scars do ache at times. I just recently developed a rash across my breasts, and I am petrified. I googled and sent myself over the edge. I saw my doctor last week and he said he was not worried. I see him again this week for my yearly exam so hoping whatever is happening is ok. The pains scare me so much.
  6. Thank you for that. I am just trying to not totally lose it. I am so worked up over this and other things. I hate being plagued with this anxiety.
  7. I am going to see the derm at the end of the month. I am terrified. My mole has darkened over the last 2.5 years. I found an old photo to compare. Just hoping it isn’t anything bad.
  8. Thank you all so much. I do have a good derm and have seen two of them recently while transitioning from one to my new one. It just seems so different than my others, so that it invites panic in. I have a check up coming soon, so will mention it again. Really appreciate you all talking this out with me.
  9. I have kidney stones and my main symptoms was blood in my urine until it got lodged. Do not recommend that. My husband has had some, and they have not always caused symptoms. So it could be possible, but also, may have already been something in there. The not knowing is always hard!
  10. I’m struggling hardcore over a mole I have had for ages. I caught sight of it and it has set me off. It is dark and has a bit of odd shape. My old derm said we just need to watch it. New derm didn’t see anything wrong with it several months ago. She did say it is a bit irregular, but not a worry. I just can’t stop fixating on it. I am beyond worried and want to rush in to be seen. I am conflicted. I was last seen in the fall, and I am fair and have several moles. I just don’t know what to do.
  11. I hope all is well, and you know results by now. I’m struggling hardcore over a mole I have had for ages. I caught sight of it and it has set me off. It is dark and has a bit of odd shape. My old derm said we just need to watch it. New derm didn’t see anything wrong with it. I just can’t stop fixating on it. I know the hyper focus is the crux of the issue for so many of us. I’m sorry you are struggling, but thankful I’m not alone.
  12. Glad you’re better!! We are all over thinkers. You are in good company.
  13. She hit you in the head, and you got a lump/bump. I know it likely seems like it isn’t that, but that’s a pretty clear cut case of cause and effect. I know the what ifs and fears, but the bump is most definitely from the accidental hit.
  14. Oh, definitely his molars! They can cause all sorts of pain and weird referred pain. Hopefully he’s better soon.
