One CT scan, about 12 vials of blood (total over four years), EKG, two sonograms, one angiogram, a urinalysis...

…...and a partridge in a pear tree.

Hah, this seems to be funny.

During past two years due to health anxiety I had 3 MRI scans, 1 CT (full body), 7 ultrasounds, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, 3 FOB tests, 7 general blood tests.

They costed lots of nerves.

Hi. wingo. YUP, been there. I wore out many ECG machines years ago because I didn't believe what they came up with. When I look back it is rather laughable, although not so at the time!! Palpitations were my main concern. Still get them now and then especially when up tight about something, but just shrug them off because I know what they are and what causes them. We are tricked, bluffed and fooled by that great magician, anxiety. His box of tricks are endless. As soon as we call his bluff the quicker he will depart.

I remember around 12 or 13 years ago, I was sent to a Moh's surgeon to have a basal cell carcinoma removed from my nose. I remember asking the physician while I was there to look at a few other spots I had to make sure they looked OK. He said all looked good and I then apologized for maybe seeming a bit paranoid about the spots. He then responded to me and what he said I will never forget the rest of my life. He said, you are not being paranoid at all, and in fact a little paranoia may be good as far as your health goes as it may one day save your life.

4 CT scans, bladder scope, blood work galore and 1 ultrasound 😝😝😝 it's been 3 years since I've had any out of the ordinary test. 😁 Recovery is long and hard but so worth the work!

I had two MRI's this past spring.  One for my brain and one spinal.  Both came back clean.

I was surprised by how pleasant the experience was, to be honest.  I dozed off during the second one.

I've had a head CT and MRI, a thoracic CT, 2 ECGs, 2 24hr heart monitors, a nerve conduction study, an amyloid PET scan (for which I travelled from Montreal to a specialist research centre in London), X-rays of my spine, lungs and leg, thyroid ultrasound and biopsy, urinalysis, and far, far too many blood tests to list.

Once in a Montreal hospital I was given a form that listed every blood test their biochemistry lab offered next to check boxes. The cardiologist checked a few of them, handed me the form, and told me to take it to the lab. On the way, I took out a pen and checked every other box before handing it in at the lab. Later, the cardiologist was surprised that I'd been tested for pregnancy (I'm male)! 😅
