Gilly 1086 Posted April 25, 2012 Mary you know I am in the same position. I had mine done 3 weeks ago and I've not heard a thing which means i'm good. Remember when you said to me that one thing we have to be grateful for is we aren't in a crohns flare? We're monitored every 3 months, 3 months ago you were good, the odds are you will still be good. And if there were something wrong we have the best advantage of being well and truly one step ahead because we do get tests every 3 months. You're tired because you work hard, have depression, *don't hit me... getting a little older, and you have been on a med roller coaster. You'll be ok and we're all here to get you through the nervy next few days. xxx
BonnyC 1 Posted April 26, 2012 Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I know how scary it can be. I've had to wait on biopsy results when my Onc was pretty worried that I had Lymphoma. The wait was a nightmare but everything came back fine! I'm just lumpy. Just wanted to let you know that I know how you feel and this too shall pass! shaun 6 Posted April 26, 2012 I hate having my blood taken. I remember the last time I had my blood taken I passed out, haha. It was a crazy and surreal experience. I felt like my head was shaking. The nurse pushed me up and it was over, but I was left feeling dazed and disorientated. Try not to worry about it - don't think about it - tell yourself to stop if you do. Preoccupy your mind with other things.

kingusama92 0 Posted April 29, 2012 It's a pretty frightening experiences as you are waiting there for your blood work to be done. I am fine with it, when the needle has gone in. However, those few moments prior to the needle being stuck in are something else. I can already feel the tingly feeling thinking about myself waiting for my blood work to be done. There are numerous people that get the same feeling. Needles are not popular!

SarahLizzie 2 Posted May 27, 2012 I have a serious needle phobia. So when my doctor wants blood work, he is lucky to get it. Plus I had the fact that when your blood work is okay, the doctor does not call you. I am sorry to hear you have no been feeling well lately. I, personally, do not have Crohns disease, but I knew many people who do. Instead I have to have blood work done every three months due to heart conditions I have. (Though I skip the blood work most of the time, and do it once a year, because I am such a chicken). I hope all goes well with your blood work.
Anneie63 0 Posted May 27, 2012 I had it done twice this past two months and this time I find out what the problem is on Wednesday my next DR appt. I'm scared as I think one of the tests will determine wether or not the large Cyst I have is c***** or not.
leyash 4 Posted July 21, 2012 I would be scared, too!! I hope everything goes okay. I know many people with Crohn's, sadly.
