  1. To be honest I like to go see doctors, I like check-ups so that I know I'm healthy and everything is okay with body and what not. I know a lot of people (like my mother for example) who really dislikes doctors and dentists, she said she just has this panic feeling and she feels a lot of anxiety. I guess some people just don't like the doctors, to be honest I think it's a subconcious thing and it's a fear that can take forever to get over.
  2. I sleep wayy too much as well. If it was up to me I'd always sleep. However my body is really odd in the way where one week I'll sleep all the time and the next week it'll be very difficult for me to fall asleep. I've tried to get myself into a partern however sometimes I just can't sleep at the "bed time" I gave myself. Plus some days I feel like I really need a nap or I'll get headaches and my brain won't work as well. It really sucks to have messed up sleeping patterns.
  3. I am soo exhausted/upset at the moment. I just finished babysitting for 12 hours straight and I can't stand the little girl. She's only 2 years old but she gives me so much attitude and cries over EVERYTHING. Yeah, f*cking annoying. From now on I do not want to babysit that girl she is very annoying and she needs to learn that she won't always get what she wants even if she cries for it. I've babysat since I was 14 and I am now 19, I've babysat many many kids and none of them were this bitchy/moody. Anyways that's my rant!
  4. What song are you listening to right now? Mirror by Lil Wayne ft. Bruno Mars
  5. I am not reading "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson
  6. Jersey Shore. It has so much drama but yet it's soooo stupid.
  7. I watch Jersey Shore as welll.. I love the drama and it's actually a very interesting show. I got my boyfriend into the show as well so now it's even more fun to watch hahaha.
  8. Hmm I really enjoy Leap Year, Mean Girls and John Tucker Must Die. I think that they are all funny movies and they are always good choices =)
  9. I really really love this movie, it was really well done and the characters did a fantastic job. I think that it is a brilliant movie and I would love to re-watch it soon.
  10. Hi there Classy_ally, Welcome to Anxiety Central, I'm Ashley and I also suffer from depression and anxiety. 11. I seem to do that too.. I had myself convinced that I had bipolar once.. I mean I do have depression but Bipolar is totally different. My doctor laughed and honestly asked me if I googled it and if that's why I thought I was bipolar. Apparently a lot of people do this, they go online and check out diseases and self-diagnose themself. From now on when I think there is something wrong with me I schedule an appointment with my doctor. No more self-diagnosing.
  12. I have composed this poem about a year ago to inspire people to follow their dreams. Here is how it goes: Follow Your Dreams Close your eyes, open your mind, You will be surprised with what you find. Let your ideas flow, Let your imagination grow. Think of everything that you please, Just relax and stay at ease. What do you feel? What do you see? Imagination is key. Let your mind wander off and roam, Does it feel like heaven? Does it feel like home? Don't be fooled or lose dignity , Make your dreams and hopes a reality. Don't let anything get in the way of your dreams, No matter how hard or how extreme. Remember your goals are achievable, And your dreams are conceivable. Don't lose hope or be diluted of what you can accomplish or do, Because as Dolly Parton once said: "The only one stopping you from living your dream is you." © Composed by: Ashley
  13. To be honest I used to smoke marijuana to help with my depression and to help with my anxiety. I cut down a lot since now I rarely smoke it, but I do find that it does help.
