What other symptoms you get with heart palps

Recommended Posts

And how long it lasts.

I get lightheaded and dizzy, start to sweat and then have to use the bathroom and nausea. It cant go on for a long while or last a short amount of time. =(

Yesterday i almost pass out and had tachicardia. Im still lightheaded. And electrocardiogram only showed tachicardia but im scared of heart problems or brain stroke.

Zelda... I went to the Dr on Tues over palps..

It sounds like you have the palps then you get scared and start flight or fight mode and your adrenaline gets pumping.. you get light headed, dizzy sweating which are all anxiety symptoms which is what you e.r. Dr told you... You need to work on the anxiety and stop worrying about the palps. Stress causes palps, caffeine , too much sugar but my Dr stressed how much stress can do it. Start trying something for the anxiety like meditating, walking to clear your head, doing a hobby that you love, therapy.. something is better than nothing. Hugs.

All sorts of symptoms, just depends. Sometimes (most times) I get just the palpitation - typically a flip-flop or flutter sensation. Occasionally I experience mild lightheadedness and/or nausea. I've also had sweating, as well as a sudden urge to cough.

Hi Zelda. Been thinking about you today. How has your day been? When I have a panic attack it's like an earthquake I'll have the big attack then little after shocks. It takes me a good week to feel some what normal. Are you feeling ok? Hugs.

I have been getting that flip flop feeling also and the skipped beat sensation which sends me into worry! I worry about it and wonder why I get it but I only get this when I am really stressed or experiencing anxiety over a period of time, which I definitely have been stressed and anxious for a very long time. I have been checked out many times all the EKGs would show was tachycardia and of course they told me it was anxiety as well. I just worry that this is really not good and that I will always have it, and it makes me even more anxious. I just had a burst of adrenaline few days ago, out of nowhere. Scared me a bit. It lasted a couple minutes. I was sooo anxious while it was going on. The skipped beat feeling and flip flop type sensation really scares me also. I just wonder why this happens!?
