AnneBoleyn 50 Posted January 9, 2018 I've been having terrible bouts of morning anxiety. Dizziness, feeling faint, palps, pit in my stomach. It was so bad I called my PCP and made an appt for tomorrow because I was sure I was dying. I made sure I ate before my coffee this morning too which is something I never do. So what does morning and panic attacks feel like to you. I'm trying to determine if my appt was made is haste. Also, I've been posting alot today
Angelica Schuyler 217 Posted January 9, 2018 My morning anxiety consists of immediate fear and dread, as soon as I open my eyes. This is followed by a racing heartbeat, sometimes shaking, sometimes crying. Always a fear of being awake and getting out of bed. Everyone's anxiety and panic attacks manifest differently, though. Yours are much more physical than mine and more typical of a textbook panic attack. You may have jumped the gun making the appointment (you're not dying!), but your doctor could help you with some techniques to make your mornings easier. Perfect description. After I do wake up sometimes I feel dizzy and wobbly.. I absolutely have to eat with or before my coffee. I few times I don't and I'm shaking so bad it's crazy! AnneBoleyn 50 Posted January 9, 2018 I just have this pit in my stomach that's making me super nervous. Also I was at work today and I was holding my breath alot and then I was in someones office and I just got this sinking feeling in my stomach and felt faint almost. Thats panic right? I'm afraid of an abdominal aorta
ASB 3 2 Posted January 10, 2018 Same for me. I feel secure and completely relaxed while in bed. Upon waking, I start to breathe rapidly, feel dizzy, lightheaded, and shake. I get better as the day goes on. At night I feel good. I try to do some breathing exercises, which helps,
Worry2much 22 Posted January 10, 2018 I don’t really get physical symptoms except a knot feeling in my stomach. I’ve been waking up the past few morning and my anxiety is already there. Mine is more thoughts about my fears . I wake up and immediately feel scared. This is no fun.
lofwyr 215 Posted January 10, 2018 I feel worse in the morning than any other time of the day. Not so much physically worse, but mentally frazzled. Additionally, if I get up to go to the bathroom or something wakes me up any time after 4am, I might as well get up. Anxiety brain kicks in and there is almost no chance of going back to sleep for me. I still try sometimes, using CBT techniques, and can manage it on occasion, but if I have something I am obsessing about, forget it.
AnneBoleyn 50 Posted January 10, 2018 So this morning I'm doing an experiment. I did not take my abilify (I "forgot") but I did take my Klonopin. So we'll see. It could also be because my husband is traveling right now and doesn't come home until Friday afternoon. I had my family over last night and had a good cry and I feel a little better today. Thank for all your support <
Ethansmom 39 Posted January 11, 2018 I feel shaky when i wake up, have a knot in my stomach, and get heart palpitations. I have to take a klonopin in the morning just so i can get ready and get my son ready for school. It's NO fun at all! i feel your pain

Worry2much 22 Posted January 11, 2018 @Holls thanks so much!! I feel very alone with the anxiety that i have. It’s about my future health and the things that me and my family have been exposed to that could be harmful. The worst part is i obsess and google and I can’t stop feeling scared. Just hoping this will pass.

Just hoping this will pass. I know it's hard. It will get better though. I know you already know this but please stop googling. I have never went to Google and felt relieved after...never ever ever. It's a horrible anxiety feeder. It's like a drug, you just have to quit it cold turkey. Talk out your fears.. that helps too. You aren't alone. We are here, I'm here. Email me privately if you want. I'm always here. Hugs.
