Wingnut 13 Posted November 24, 2017 I hope everyone had a fantastic thanksgiving! Last night I was so bloated from food and 1 beer to the point I had a headache and could barely breathe. It was horrible! Around 3am I woke up in a literal PUDDLE of sweat from my lower abdomen to my knees. (Not urine). Of course my anxiety got the best of me and I was panicking...today my mind has been wandering, I’ve felt loopy and just not well. My heart seems to beat harder with everything I do, and I have no energy. Everyone around me has this bad head cold thing. I have just never sweat that much at night in my life! Im still just freaking out ):
JungleJulia 235 Posted November 25, 2017 It could be that you've caught their cold. You should take it easy and not try to push yourself too hard. If it's a virus, a few days rest will do you good! Keep up drinking water to rehydrate. I wouldn't worry too much about the sweat, it could be linked to having a cold. Side note: I saw some crazy story online a few months back where a woman was sweating blood! The Drs had no idea why. So your sweat sounds downright normal compared to hers
Holls 1505 Posted November 25, 2017 Everyone around me has a bad head cold right now. I went to the quick care today, I have an ear and sinus infection it's just that time of year. Thanksgiving is the day you eat way way too much of heavy heavy food.. so I can see why you woke up... Our stomachs just aren't used to all that food... I slept like crap last night.. I felt sluggish all day too. The anxiety from you waking up in a sweat is making you think it's something bad, but it's not. I ate left overs today lol.. learned my lesson yet again!!!! Tomorrow it's back to eating healthy!! You will feel better soon.
Wingnut 13 Posted November 26, 2017 Update: The past few days I haven’t been sleeping well at all. Lights seem bright, and Im almost always out of breath. My mind has been wandering all over as well making me worry that my meds (Luvox) aren’t working well....I don’t know. :/
Holls 1505 Posted November 26, 2017 I know for me that when my anxiety is super high I start looking for things... Maybe I even create symptoms, I think the sweaty night you had has sent you into anxiety mode and you might be noticing things that are usually there.. when I get like this I tell myself. I'm anxious and these symptoms are normal for my anxious state. It will stop when I stop.
