Ryn079 9 Posted July 12, 2022 Hi guys, Apologies for posting again, but I'm really desperate. I don't want to go to a doctor, cause I am afraid, even though I know it's stupid. I have had this discomfort in my stomach, accompanied by very slight nausea and loss of appetite. I also have like a bad taste in my mouth. It's been about a month and I am really worried. I don't feel like eating, even when I'm hungry and I have nausea, very slight nausea but still present. I wake up in the morning with like a sore throat. I'm stressed because of issues in my life and I do not know how to cope anymore. Im thinking it is stomach or pancreatic cancer. I also lost 3kg. Don't know what to say or do. And sincerely, I'm a mess.
MARC 431 Posted July 12, 2022 I am not a physician, but it sounds like GERD to me. I have known a few people who had pancreatic cancer and they had severe abdominal pain. Stomach cancer is pretty rare in general and especially if you are not middle aged or elderly. Not eating will make you lose weight.
PennyPanic 276 Posted July 12, 2022 Stress will cause all sorts of stomach issues....so there's that. Can't hurt to go to the doctor though. I know it's not easy to do so...but they can give you medicines and/or diet advice to help you. Hang in there and keep us posted.
sTeaLth 238 Posted July 13, 2022 I’m going on three months of very similar. Been to a few doctors who are not worried based on the symptoms. Trying some natural remedies with a natural doctor. Lots of gut stuff can happen that’s not serious. Try to relax.
Ryn079 9 Posted July 13, 2022 First of all, I wish to thank all of you who took their time to try and make me feel better. I'm at a point where I really feel that life sucks and can't see any way out. Only thing keeping me going are my kids. Unfortunately, I'm 43 in a month, so I can't count on age for being on my side. I try to limit doctor visits as they really makee anxious, but been to a doctor about a month ago. He is the only doctor I visit, who knows my history, family issues etc, and he is attributing all my symptoms to stress and anxiety. I'll wait a bit more and see what happens. In the meantime, a big thank you to all of you, again. Wishing you health and happiness.

Unfortunately, this has become an epidemic with the pandemic and after-effects. We need to learn to filter the incoming stress to worry only about what we can handle and ditch the rest.....or in Christians' case, give it to God. I spent over $10,000 on my credit card for a water heater, electrical panel, and car fuel injector in May alone.......I paid about 70% of that off..... .....only to have a car A/C repaired in June, and an overdue faucet replacement today in July $550. And, now am facing a water softener issue that I still have to call about. I have emergency funding to do it, but with 9% inflation..... My point is - we all have issues, and we can only handle so much. Take it one thing at a time, and be kind to yourself along the way.
Bobnnat 496 Posted July 15, 2022 For what it’s worth, I saw my doctor with a HA fear a few months back. After examining me she shook her head and rather succinctly said “My God Bob, not everything you see or feel is stage 4 cancer!”. Made me think…at least for a while.
Ryn079 9 Posted July 25, 2022 Good afternoon guys, after a week of feeling better, I got acid reflux over the weekend. Got really anxious and googled pancreatic cancer symptoms, and one of the symptoms was fever/chills and yesterday was getting chills in the evening. Now, I'm in bed with no motivation to do anything, actually with no motivation to live. Will try to get the strength to go to a doctor this week and order tests...... Anxiety can cause fever and chills. I don't think pancreatic cancer would just appear. The acid reflux isn't related to that either.
sTeaLth 238 Posted July 26, 2022 Try a functional medicine doctor. They lean far more on the natural side and are far less intimidating than standard doctors. Mine has all but fixed my stomach issues with a few supplements and diet changes.
Ryn079 9 Posted July 31, 2022 Good afternoon guys. Thanks for all the input. My stomach is much better, I just woke up one day and felt better. I'm still struggling with anxiety.....worrying about other issues now....I hate how it never ends.
