AshDone 23 Posted February 5, 2019 Are driving me crazy. Like from my mid chest up, just won’t stop shivering. My doctor said it’s anxiety. She said in the past year, I’ve had all kinds of scans and test done. She said it’s not my heart or a brain tumor. I’m on betta blockers, lexapro, and hydrazine. I start coinciling this Friday.... lofwyr 215 Posted February 5, 2019 I am on beta blockers for something unrelated to anxiety. Since being on them for about the last year and a half, I have had some of what you describe, especially at night when I go to bed before or just after I fall asleep. bin_tenn 1252 Posted February 5, 2019 Yes, anxiety is a likely culprit, and I suppose the medications (one or a combination) can be contributing to it.

But I just started the medicine and this had been going on for 2 weeks.

But your anxiety has been around a lot longer than two weeks, hasn't it? Even if it's not anxiety, that doesn't mean it's "something else." It could be 1) caused by anxiety, 2) anxiety causing you to perceive it as being there when it really isn't, or 3) there is no reason but anxiety needs to find a reason. kj103 22 Posted February 6, 2019 I have been having this today! I felt a vibration on the left side , kind of under my breast area. I was like, “It’s My Heart!” Well, I was convinced it was definitely my heart in a strange rhythm. After listening to my heart with a stethoscope during the vibrations, I was wrong! It was muscles or something. My heart was beating normally.

I was sitting here thinking it’s from ALS or a brain tumor. 😭

My anxiety has been around for years. I just go through these humps, where it becomes out of control. It started to get out of control about 3 weeks ago. It really escalated when I had a dream of having a brain tumor. I know that dreams mean nothing, but it sure sent my anxiety through the roof.

Of course it did, that happens to a lot of us. I've had many dreams trigger extended bouts of anxiety in the real world. Some health related, others not. Ethansmom 39 Posted February 8, 2019 I have terrible internal trembles EVERY. Single. Morning. It's terrible. I have night mares from the meds that i'm on. I have anxiety from doing the same distruvtive thing over and over. We need to try something new. How about thinking you DON"T have a brain tumor, and that it's just high anxiety. I have it, and i don't have a brain tumor. Hugs!
