Thanks @Holls, appreciate all the replies you keep giving me I'm probably annoying everyone else by now

Seems like att he minute it’s one thing, on schedule, every week, just after the last goes. this morning I woke up, felt fine, but as soon as I got up I felt a pretty bad ache/stiffness over a pretty large area, on the left side of my back, my left side, a little in my neck, and a bit of my arm. It’s like the whole left side of my back. Top to bottom. Worst in the middle-left. Obviously I’ve caught/trapped a nerve or something, it’s very general ache over a large area and feels muscular/ like a strain. But I can’t help but think it must come from trapping a nerve in my neck/spine, likely caused by something sinister. Or again, as with all of my anxiety, somehow related back to a heart issue, as it’s on the left.

Hey guys! I’m a little worried that what started as ear ache/infection is spreading around my head/body. it started last week with my left ear ache and some headache around it. That’s nearly gone now but after a couple of days my right ear got the same. Then my ears feel a bit better but then some intense toothache. Now my shoulders & neck aches. It feels like the infection is moving around to different parts and im sure the next stop is either blood, lungs or brain ?

I'm kind of the same. I haven't cried for 10-15 years I'm sure. Although for me, I do tend to get emotional, but I do that thing a lot of men do, supress it. Don't ever cry. Which a lot of people say isn't good for you anyway. Sounds like it works for some and not for others. And more so when you're actually frustraited and actually need to, rather than just trying to force out a cry in the hopes it'll help.

Hey! I haven’t put this to the test myself. Maybe I’ll try let out some emotions and see. For people with depression, a lot say releasing all that emotion in some way, often by having a big cry makes them feel so much better, even if it is temporary. I wonder if it’s the same for anxiety? Especially for those of us at least like myself that keep a lot of emotion bottled up inside. Anxiety, being a mental illness, letting out emotions may help? In a similar way that just talking about anxiety often helps.

I just want to sleep ? I love going to bed because I wake up with a fresh mind, free of worry. Right now it’s 4am and now I’m worrying about insomnia

White spots on your tonsils, if you also have a sore throat, is more likely to be tonsillitis. Easily treatable

How often should you go for a physical/Complete blood count?
Ruu replied to wingo22's topic in Health Anxiety
Ah I see! Does everyone have an annual physical regardless of age? I think they’re just for people over 55 here. -
I often get back pain for a few days at a time and it’s almost ALWAYS down to poor posture. Taking notice of how you sit/stand/walk etc can do magic for back pain

How often should you go for a physical/Complete blood count?
Ruu replied to wingo22's topic in Health Anxiety
It seems very different over here in the UK. Are regular blood tests common in the US? I had a couple last year, and those were my first blood tests in about 8 years. Over here you can’t just request a test. There has to be a reason for the doctor to want to order tests. -
You know me/anxiety too well! It’s always Google. I’m not really sure why I google those same symptoms over and over again. Just looking for something that isn’t anxiety probably. thanks! @anthonycain I need to tel myself that too. It’s apparently incredibly rare so that’s a positive that it’s unlikely. 1 in 100,000 people get it apparently

Morning all! So I’m doing ok, managing to cut down on work and get out and exercise. Only a couple of days in so it’s early but hopefully it’ll help. One thing though, that I came across is phaeochromocytoma. an Adrenal gland tumour (usually non-cancerous). I don’t know if I’m just being crazy or if that could be something to persue. the symptoms seem to match the skipped beats/adrenaline rush episodes I get quite well: Attacks can last from a couple of minutes to an hour (that’s the range that I get my episodes for). As well as High heart rate, palpitations, headaches, sweating (I get night sweats every few days), and... can cause anxiety. there are some in there I don’t get, high blood pressure and sickness. But that’s a lot of things ticked off a list that I usually only tick one or two items. i guess the only thing against it really is that it says symptoms may get worse as it grows. But my symptoms fluctuate. And if I work on my mindfulness, work/life balance, and meditation etc I do start feeling better.

Bleeding gums. Sinister or just bad oral hygiene
Ruu replied to Vandelsrock21's topic in Health Anxiety
I say nothing to worry about I have the same, every time I brush there is quite a lot of blood. But I just mention it next time I go to the dentist if it's been particularly bad. They might do a quick X-ray to make sure there's nothing causing it, but they know what they're looking at so as long as dentists are happy, I'm happy. -
Thats funny! I was so nervous myself I actually quickly set up a whole new site just in case it never came back on and was doing an Anxiety Zone on us. Literally 5 minutes after I hit the butter to go live Anxiety Central came back online! haha

Does anyone else feel like their HA has cycles?
Ruu replied to Walking Circles's topic in Health Anxiety
Absolutely! I sometimes think that the knowledge of it coming in waves might actually be the trigger. I know I have a good week or two, then it’ll come back for a few days really intensely. After a week or two without any attacks I’ll start thinking to myself that it’s due to return. -
Thank you both

I just had really sharp chest pains that lasted about half an hour and occurred while breathing in. Deeper breaths causing much sharper pains. I’ve had things like this before and usually just accept it’s tension/pinched nerve/strain etc. but this was much more intense. It lasted about half an hour and then suddenly disappeared instantly. im worried now of pulmonary embolism. Apparently that’s a main symptom. But would it appear intensely and disappear just as quickly? a heart attack wouldn’t disappear after half an hour would it?
-
Thanks @jonathan123 yeah that’s exactly exactly right. I know what I need to do, just do it. Luckily while it’s a big project, it’s a quick one too. It should finish next week, then I can try slow down again and only take on work I can fit in. thanks!

I had to un-subscribe myself from online services a few years ago. Because I have a weird fear of talking to people on the phone, when I had the ability to book Dr appointments online I was booking SO many. When I then had to call to make appointments I booked far less.

This always appears as a worry again when anxiety is high. My heart rate slows significantly when I breathe out. I’m aware that variable is normal and nothing to worry about, but this seems excessive. each time I start breathing out I think my heart is skipping a beat until I realise is actually slowed SO much and that’s to new normal rate, until I breathe in again.

Hi all, I had started feeling really good over the last week, but it all came tumbling down again yesterday. Im almost certain now that all of my isssues are related to stress, over-work and exhaustion. I got a big project for a high profile client, and it’s not going so well. Over the past week I’ve had to work 12+ hours a day. That’s a long time in front of a computer with no exercise. And I think it’s now catching me up again and giving me palpitations, skipped beats etc. Last night I woke up absolutely drenched. I know it’s getting bad when I get night sweats. or at least that’s all what I have to try tell myself... that or it’s heart disease.

Thanks @Holls! Luckily I haven’t had any panics when I wake up. I just wake and am frustrated when I look at the clock thinking its 6am but it’s actually 1am. Then I can’t get back to sleep. but I totally see how anxiety can wake you
-
Very good point thanks. Now to make my anxiety mind think that way too. Not so easy.
-
Hey everyone. For the past few weeks I’ve been waking up at all times. I usually wake up a few times over night and am awake fully by 4-5am, (when I used to sleep until 6-7). my worry is its my body waking me up because something is wrong with my heart/circulation. Is that in any way possible?

I remember going through these same thoughts last time I had anxiety years ago too. And I was fine. But they still worry me. one, more regular issue is I have no moons on my fingernails. Lunala or something I think they’re called. Apparently this is a thyroid issue or b12 deficiency. But I have had recent blood tests. Thyroid problems would have appeared on that right? Another thing that worries me is on one nail it has a horizontal ridge. This kind of thing always worries me. There must be something wrong to have caused that without trauma?
