  1. I've had agoraphobia for about a year now and it's gotten really bad the past few months. I can go out sometimes with my mum, as long as the majority of the trip is in the car. I managed a restaurant recently but I didn't talk to anyone, didn't really make eye contact and was close to a panic attack. It forced me away from university within 4 months.
  2. I've had agoraphobia for about a year now
  3. King Kong had 2 remakes. One in the 50's or 60's and the one with Jack black and Adrian brody
  4. Aha that's good, reading is nice and yeah you have to pay tuition fees here but in terms of grants and loans etc we pay it back after the defegree is finished and we are earning over 23k a year
  5. With the reading side of things, I haven't read novels for years. I love comics, which is great Coz I dont have to concentrate too much, and the strips have pics so I can just easily visualise it all aha
  6. Heyy. I had the exact same thing, but I was sometimes he noisy one haha. I got kicked out of college right on a levels and had to just attend for exams... Was constantly in trouble coz the teachers thought I was just being lazy and stuff, but it's nigh impossible to concentrate... Especially with tourettes lol. :/ only.lasted 4 month in uni too..
  7. 3.37am, still awake as per... -_-

  8. I'm 21 in August. I've had anxiety since I was about 11, developed depression at about 16 and have now had agoraphobia for about a year, and it's gone from 1/10 to 10/10 since then. As well as that, I've had tourettes syndrome and mild adhd since I was about 2. Finally, I've suffered from hyperthyroidism since 14, and now have an auto-immune disorder called graves' disease. All in all, they all go hand in hand in making my life hell and destroying any chance of a normal life I have, and it's a process I'm still not able to deal with. I'm on a waiting list for talk therapy but in the mean time I thought I'd try and find some more people with these problems, preferably between 16-23 but anyone who can help or wants to know anything please get in touch aha Thanks
  9. I'm new here myself. I've been suffering with anxiety mainly, since I was about 11, and I'm now 21. Even though I only got diagnosed at 18 I've always felt it there, tightening around my heart, making it hard to breathe when a possibly embarrassing or attentive situation occurs. Through that I've developed bad depression, which I've had for about 4 years, and for the last year or so I've been progressing through agoraphobia. I still don't really know how to deal with it all to be honest, and I'm always terrified to open up about it, and only my mum knows about it, but not all of my thoughts as I don't fully understand them myself. I've missed out on holidays, birthdays, nights out, I got kicked out college right before A levels and had to sit them externally. I left university within 4 months. And am now waiting for cognitive behaviour therapy... I've also got tourettes syndrome and mild adhd which obviously just aggravates everything. Hoping to find a few people on here to give some insight to it and some stories about it and stuff.
