AnneBoleyn 50 Posted March 19, 2021 On Tuesday I took my son for an EKG which in turn turned out to be of very poor quality. Not only that but it showed an enlarged left ventricle. Now my pediatrician doesn't think he has this issue, she thinks the test was just not of good quality but that we should retake the test. I took him again yesterday, to a different place and as soon as he was done the tech said that everything looked normal and couldn't look more normal, but still the Dr needs to read it. So I'm sitting here losing my mind waiting for these results. I know that I can call the pediatrician but I don't want to do that. She told me me not to worry just yet. I just need some good thoughts and virtual hugs.
Antman15 17 Posted March 19, 2021 Stay strong if they told you it was normal it’s normal! If something was wrong they’d call you right away!
Ironman 198 Posted March 19, 2021 Follow the advice. The doctor knew the first test was suspect. I accidentally pushed buttons on my EKG device and wondered if it did anything, but it didn't. Your son could be fine. Was there a reason to take your son?
MARC 431 Posted March 20, 2021 The tech said all was OK, which is an excellent sign in your sons favor.
AnneBoleyn 50 Posted March 21, 2021 So it turns out that the second EKG was still showing and enlarged left side. So we go for an Echo tomorrow afternoon.
