BedDweller 1 Posted November 26, 2020 I was put on an antibiotic and it has been causing me to feel nauseous. This morning it actually caused me to throw up. I'm worried that maybe I'm allergic to the med. Is this common?
bin_tenn 1252 Posted November 26, 2020 Yes, this is fairly common when taking an antibiotic. I also tend to feel a bit nauseous when I take one.
Nat1996 23 Posted November 26, 2020 Yes nausea/vomiting can most definitely be a side effect of lots of different medications. Maybe you could try eating something & then waiting like 20-30 mins before taking the antibiotic. Of course you could always call your pharmacy and ask if it’s a common reaction. Best of luck 🙂
