davide.h 26 Posted November 23, 2020 It's too early where I am to see a doctor. It reminds me a bit of having tinnitus a few years ago. It came on so suddenly when I woke up and it only one ear. Could be stress-caused? I don't know. 😫
bin_tenn 1252 Posted November 23, 2020 Not stress, but plenty of other benign and harmless causes. I sometimes wake up with an ear feeling that way, and it resolves itself in due time.
MARC 431 Posted November 23, 2020 Maybe sinus or allergy issues.
Iugrad91 501 Posted November 23, 2020 There are lots of things we feel that don’t need a doctors opinion. If you overfocus on every sensation and run to the doctor every time something feels different, you will find yourself constantly seeking reassurance for one thing after another. Learn to let it be for a few days before trying to figure out what it is. Most of the time it’s just a normal bodily sensation that everyone gets from time to time and most don’t think twice about. BedDweller 1 Posted November 26, 2020 A lot of different things can cause our ears to feel weird, most of which I'm sure are minor issues that can be treated at home, or resolve on their own. What comes to my mind is perhaps the pressure in your eustachian tube is off. Yawning can help correct the pressure if that's the case. Another thought is it could be allergies, or maybe you need to have your ear cleaned. Heck, it's even possible that it's nothing at all.
davide.h 26 Posted November 26, 2020 It gets sore when I've tried to clean it out. I don't remember that happening before. 😞
AriaRen 19 Posted November 26, 2020 Your ears are super sensitive, going piking around in there is bound to hurt them. Try leaving them be for a while, a stuffed ear can be a million things, I get it sometimes if I've had a bit of a cold, or even when I've had a migraine. Go for a nice steamy bath or shower, and just leave them be to heal. If it's still ongoing in a week, see your Dr, I don't know where you are but I know pharmacists can help in the UK with common ear stuff too 🙂 hope you're feeling better soon.
