Sommer J 0 Posted April 21, 2019 So I can’t even shake this. I’ve been twitching everywhere for about 2-3 months and 2 days ago it started in my tongue... anyone else have this problem. I’m so scared
TenLettersRap 22 Posted April 21, 2019 yea i had this and it was my anxiety. Im still dealing with keeping my mind off these subjects even after being told im not going to die. its become a bad habbit to continue doubting my doctors and think the worst and when i do i feel the symptoms creep back and i have to try to remember my neurologists words
Sommer J 0 Posted April 21, 2019 See I haven’t yet seen a neurologist because my doctor says it’s anxiety but I still wonder what it is. But it’s reassuring to hear that you have experienced it too. How long did your tongue twitching last? Or how long have you been twitching ?

Scary isn’t it. just occupy your mind with something. you focus on your breathing and you worry about it. i usually play a game on my phone or do something around the house
Sommer J 0 Posted April 22, 2019 Thank you for the advice. I’m trying really hard today. It sucks that this is taking over my life. Every time these sensations come back I have a mini freak out session. Like right now my soles of my feet are twitching and I’m trying to get it off my mind

ZenCube 59 Posted May 2, 2019 BFS can involve every muscle. Tongue is a muscle. It can twitch as good as any other muscle. Note hat BFS stands for BENIGN fasiculation syndrome.
Debant 0 Posted October 22, 2020 I have had tongue twitching in one little spot for almost 5 months. No better, no worse, but I have noticed that when I am not super stressed it doesn't do it consistently. My ENT said she believes it is anxiety related because of the masks, covid and life in general.
