I don't want to be but I can't shake the feeling in my stomach... trying to be strong but I want to cry.... I just feel like there are too many wrong things with me, I don't feel healthy.... I am just hoping this scan is ok.... and then Friday I have a mammogram scheduled.... not sure how I am gonna make it thru :(

You got this ❤️  I know how you are feeling. And my sinuses are hurting me again so I am so afraid of what they are going to see on the CT scan.

For those of us who get anxious about medical tests, this is a whole lot for you to do in a short time Leah. As for how you're feeling, you can't trust any of that now, it's totally muddied by anxiety. Keep in touch please, let us know when your finished, we can breathe a sigh of relief together.

Leah, I really hate to get tests, imaging, or any of that stuff. It would be fine and dandy if it was always normal, right?

I think anxiety tries to tell us that results will only either be "normal" or "incurable". I think the hardest thing is to realize that there's a whole lot of stuff between "normal" and "incurable".

We are all believing the best for you. It may be a challenging few days but know that you are not alone!

I also am not great at going to the doctor, waiting for tests, either....I just had my annual GYN check up on Monday which went fine...although my BP was up in the office - however when taken again during the visit it came down some - it seems to always be elevated in any doctor's office but I do take it at home and it is much better there and I record my readings...however, exam went well and doctor did breast exam and felt all was normal - have my referral for my mammogram which is not due until May...now just awaiting PAP test results....definitely not a fan of the waiting.  Also have my first colonoscopy coming up in a little over a week.  So I definitely feel your pain -- let us know how it goes!

Hi guys sorry... I just got home I was out all day.... the test went ok, it only took 2 minutes literally... they gave me the cd with the pictures but I can't even try to see it cause I won't understand. My appointment with my ENT is set up for Monday to discuss CT scan results and the allergy testing I am having tomorrow....

Thank you all for checking back... as soon as I hear anything related to results, I will let you know!!!! xoxo!

Guys I couldn't do my allergy test this morning because I didn't read the instructions and I was taking ZANTAC which I need to be off of for 5 days prior to the test... now the test it's not until March 21 gggrrrrrr and I had an appointment with my ENT to discuss CT scan results and allergy results this coming Tuesday..... how am I gonna wait that long???? I am assuming that if something sinister was found on the scan they will contact me right away right????

My headaches are so bad.... sinus headache, neck pain,..... I always come back to brain tumors fears... I can't relax.

They don't scan for two minutes if they see a tumor.

I skipped my Claritin D two days ago and figured it wouldn't matter too much.  I woke up with the most horrendous sinus headache of my life.  I couldn't talk because my own voice felt like I was being kicked in the head.  Lifting my head hurt.  Lying down hurt.  I slept an entire day and night.  I still don't feel great but I'm functioning at least.  You don't have a brain tumor.

I would take it as they didn't see anything so they have no reason to call you. What I've always heard is, when they see bad things, they call you quickly.

You might get some info if you call the office tomorrow and just ask about it. I have done that before and depending on who you talk to, you may get a lot of info that way.

It is horrible to wait, I know.

Thanks for your post, I hope that's the case.... I don't want to call at all... that stresses me out more.

UPDATE OMG I Just received an email with the results... I almost passed out when I went to my portal to check.... I don't understand much but the Impressions where "No significant sinusitis. Nasal septum deviated to the right" so I guess nothing bad, THANK GOD! OMG testing is so nerve racking....

Something caught my attention, this is one of the bullet items:

Orbits and Brain: Unremarkable - I DIDN'T KNOW THEY SEE THE BRAIN ON A SINUS CT SCAN????? I am always so afraid of BT.
