Hi all, So my mother had some blood pressure problems . . . She kept having a high blood pressure recently this month. So she got checked by her doctor and got her a series of tests . . . She was also given some meds to lower down her blood pressure. She then got her goiter checked 'cause it might be the cause of her increase in blood pressure. So on Tuesday, she'll be having a Thyroid Ultrasound by a guided needle. And she went on YouTube to search the procedure and I walk up on her seeing a video about the 4 possible results and it's mostly about if it's benign or cancerous. I've been a hypochondriac and when I saw it, I feared for her. I just want to know to those who have gone on a Thyroid Ultrasound with a guided needle what the results were to lighten up things . . . Thank you .

Yeah . I freak out when it’s difficult to breathe after coughing so much . I just finished taking my meds . Yesterday was the last pill that was prescribed to me but I still purchase and take it ‘cause if I don’t, the same thing happens . Is that ok to take anti allergy pills beyond the days prescribed by the doctor ?

I do hope it is . I’ll be going back to the doctor next week .

Hi ! I have posted previously (October 22, 2018) that I had an itchy throat and had already gotten checked by a doctor specifically an internal medicine doctor . I was prescribed with anti allergies for 14 days and if it still itches, I could extend up to 30 days and it does work but it keeps itching when I stop for a day . My doctor told me to go back in case it doesn’t go away after 30 days and I did . I went back last week but the another doctor took over for a while ‘cause my doctor was out of the country and I was prescribed with an antibiotic + anti allergy . Still it’s the same thing . When I’m not able to take my anti allergy pill my throat itches and I start coughing until it starts to wheeze and I have to use a nebulizer for me to be able to breathe . Already freaking out . Send help

Hi everyone . I just got back from my doctor’s appointment . My doctor asked for my blood count and my x ray . She heard some noise on my back as she checks my lungs . She told me that it might be pneumonia due to having ny cough for like 2 weeks now but she had to see the x ray to confirm what’s wrong . She prescribed me Fluimuciln to get rid of the phlegm and Zykast for anti allergy . I just took my anti allergy pill and I’m coughing like crazy that my neck already hurts . I’m also afraid of what it could be my chest and back doesn’t hurt tho .

Hi . It’s been 2 weeks now that my cough hasn’t gone away . The 2nd week is worse ‘cause my throat is just itchy and I feel like having to cough for it to not be itchy but it gets even more itchy . There’s still phlegm but it’s a little bit clear . I’m really scared as to what it is . I’ve tried a nebulizer and it does help bit this time it wasn’t helping soothe the itchiness of my throat . Has anyone else experienced this ? Also I’ve had office mates who still have the cough the same week as I am but a little longer .

I’m scared . My grandpa had an endoscopy and it was stomach cancer . Why did you have 3 endoscopies ? Was your GERD not cured yet before this histal hernia ?

Can you ask the doctor to sedate you ? Will they let it if it’s the patient’s request ?

Hi all, I have posted a topic on February of 2018 regarding post nasal drip and constant clearing of throat due to GERD/Acid reflux . I’ve been to the ENT lots of times already and took prescribed medication and a diet . Last month, I went to the doctor to be checked for any signs of dengue after I had a fever and colds . I then brought up my GERD/Acid reflux issue and told my doctor that it hasn’t gone away . That the medication did help a little but I had it for just a few weeks . My doctor asked me if I was scoped and I did but on the throat and they found nothing blocking my throat . The doctor mentioned that it might be a problem in the stomach and suggested that I’d be scheduled for an endoscopy after my colds to see if it might be ulcer . But I didn’t go back . I am afraid of endoscopy and my doctor doesn’t know that . I even had a problem when I got my throat scoped because I panicked and I easily gagged . I also read that they could sedate you and it would be as if nothing happened . But my fear of waking up in the middle of the procedure gets to me and my throat clearing situation is annoying . Especially the freling of something stuck in your throat and the difficulty to swallot at times when experiencing post nasal drip . Another fear is stomach cancer .

Hi ! I’m currently experiencing the same thing . All of a sudden my left eye’s lower eyelid hurts when I blink or when I press it . I’m also a bit worried .

Hi ! I recently posted here that I was diagnosed with GERD but then my company had an anual physical exam last January 30, 2018 . The results just came in last Thursday, May 8, 2018 . And the doctor’s findings were “ acute tonsillitis “ but when I went to the ENT on February, my throat was fine and that I only have post nasal drip . So I was given medications for that and it didn’t work . I was given a medication to get rid of allergies and clean the insides of my nose . Then I went back since the meds didn’t work for me .Then I had the endoscopy procedure on my throat and the doctor found nothing and just told me it was GERD . Gave me medications again, one to control the acid in my stomach and one to clear anything that’s in my throat . The throat clearing medication helped but my throat clearing and dry cough gets worse at night and when I wake up . Now I’m going to see another doctor . Hopefully they’d make me feel better . ‘Cause I’m so confused of the results that came out .

Hi ! I have about 12 PPI’s left to take and my mom thinks I should just go back to the doctors since my throat clearing isn’t going away . But we’re going to another ENT doctor . I’m so scared, my throat just gets worse at night and in the morning .

I’ve been taking PPI’s as well and it does help but it gets worse at night or when I’d just woke up . I’d cough out jelly strings and an awful sore throat . x_x

Will it go away soon ? I feel sick everyday . Makes me not want to go to work .

My doctor gave me antihistamines when she thought I had post nasal drip and it didn’t work . Doesn’t bother her as much ? She still has it ? But does she still maintain a diet ?

Hi ! I had been feeling ill lately . It started off as clearing my throat constantly and then I experienced dry cough and colds . After 2 weeks, I decided to go to the doctor and was diagnosed with post nasal drip . After having taken the medications, it didn’t work . So I went back to the doctor and she told me I could possibly have GERDs . She performed another kind of endoscopy at ghe clinic to check my throat ‘cause I had this feeling of a having phlegm stuck in my throat but she didn’t see anything . Afterwards, she gave me medications to control the acid . It helps sometimes but it gets worse when I wake up . It’s like my throat is so dry, maybe it’s how I sleep . IDK . And I’d cough out jelly like strings in the morning . I’m so desperate to get rid of it ASAP ‘cause it’s bothering me . Can you permanently cure GERDs ?

So I woke up this morning and when i touched the back part of my head near the back of my ear, I felt a tiny bump and it felt like a bone and it hurts when it's pressed . I've had a lymph node before when I was 10YO and it went away with the help of antibiotics . I had it 'cause I had a fever days before I had it and it feltlike a marble . Now I'm scared . IDK what this could possibly be . I had a slight fever 2 weeks ago and bad a bad stomach ache . Anyone know what could this be ? It kinda hurts even when I don't touch it .

Hi ! I'm sorry to hear that . My anxiety just acts up every time I get sick . My friend got pneumonia before 'cause when she was a kid 'cause she played outside and had her sweat dry up on her back . I for one have my sweat on my back dry up instead of changing or wiping it . So that got me worried . I'm not sure how anyone could get pneumonia, I'm afraid to look it up 'cause I know it's just gonna scare me . I'd like to hear from you since you've already had it, if it's ok with you .

Yeah, I had those before but not anymore . . . . The " food stuck in throat " sensation is sometimes on and off now . The thing that's bothering me now is my back . . . I recently have short breaths . It feels like something's putting pressure on every part of my back . My masseuse put hard pressure when I had a massage even when I asked for a soft pressure . I hope that's the reason why I'm in mild pain right now .
