Geonia 1 Posted March 16, 2016 Hello everyone, I am wondering if anyone has ever used Bach Flowers remedy and if it has worked. I have bought it but to be honest don't really see it being much help. ....Geonia.xx.
jonathan123 2368 Posted March 16, 2016 Hi Geonia. Dr Bach spent his whole professional life studying the natural remedies derived from flowers and plants. His own health suffered because of the strain he imposed on himself by trying out all the remedies. Many people swear by them . The 'Rescue Remedy' is a good standby for any unexpected event or symptom or in an emergency. As with all these things not everyone gets on with them, but it's a case of trial and error. There are useful books on the subject because you have to decide what 'type' you are. There are so many differences in personalities and these have to be taken into account before taking the Remedies. Give it a go, they are cheap enough and what have you to lose. Jon. KH84 42 Posted March 17, 2016 I have tried it years ago, the last time I had anxiety, and I found that it worked for me. I used to carry it in my purse so it was always with me. if you are hoping for it to work like an antidepressant or anti anxiety med then no, you wont feel it works for you
jonathan123 2368 Posted March 17, 2016 As I said, it does depend on the person. You have to use it properly. Apart from the 'Rescue Remedy, which you can take at any time, the others have to be adjusted to your personality. There are Bach Flower Remedy practitioners who have been trained by the Bach people who you can consult. It should not be taken lightly and just used as a one off. It takes time to 'click in'.
