BejeweledMexican 32 Posted June 19, 2019 I've been a mess lately when it comes to my lady health. I'm not sexually active and so I'm not sure exactly what to expect but lately my periods have been all kinds of wacky. One month it's late the next month it's early and so forth. I work with all women and a lot of them say that their periods are syncing up so maybe that's it? Well the other day, about less than a week ago, I started having pelvis fullness. I was having pretty bad gas one day so I thought that's what it was but now it doesn't feel like that. I'm trying to jump to a cancer conclusion but we all know that's easier said than done. My bowels have been pretty messed up too. One day it's normal the next day it's loose and so forth. I know my diet has been pretty high in fat and sugar so that's probably why I'm gassy but the pelvis fullness? Last night I ate healthy and it's still there and it's uncomfortable. I feel bloated. Any ideas???
BejeweledMexican 32 Posted June 19, 2019 I'm just terrified of starting my period. I just had it two weeks ago and I know that if I start it now then there's definitely a problem. I normally have pelvis fullness right before my period (and some cramping) and my boobs are normally tender.....ALL THAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! I'm so terrified. And I don't have another woman to walk through this with me. My mom is taking care of my aunt who's in hospice and I don't want to worry her so I haven't mentioned anything....she has enough to worry about. Iugrad91 501 Posted June 19, 2019 I get that feeling mid cycle as well. It could be you’ve always had it but are now just noticing it because of your heightened anxiety. It can certainly also be gas, I’ve had that sensation before, too.
BejeweledMexican 32 Posted June 19, 2019 I really hope that's all that it is! It's been crampy all morning and then I went down to the bathroom because it felt like I had started so I freaked out but it was just sweat lol
eyedw 1 Posted June 20, 2019 How old are you Bejeweled? Maybe this is all just anxiety affecting your hormones. I know that when I'm stressed my period messed up. For me, I will get spotting mid cycle (some lasted about 3 weeks) , then my period will come late, etc. It was crazy. As I get older though my period slowly becomes more regular (older means like after 33 lol) . I also never had acne until I was 32. So you know, anxiety and stress does crazy things to your body. Hormones can be unpredictable and they are different from one woman to another. Try to seek help and find ways to relax. staying busy and talking to other people about OTHER things helps. Cheers

Cheers You are so sweet. I am 26 and up until this year I never had any problems with my period, not even cramping or anything. I’m so stressed. The fullness went away now I have some major internal shakiness and that freaks me out because two weeks ago I had that and then BOOM my period was there early. I’m just confused by it all. Scared and confused. I’m terrified that i’m Going to start my period super early again so I keep running downstairs to check myself.
Riles 3 Posted June 20, 2019 Ovulation usually is about 14 days from from your period and can cause cramping, bloating, spotting, and just about anything that a regular period would cause (besides the bleeding of course). It’s actually an old wise tale that women sync up, we don’t actually do that lol (I was disappointed to find that out) But anything and everything can influence your period. What you eat, stress levels, exercise, literally anything. I would suggest giving your obgyn a call and ask about your symptoms and see if she thinks it warrants an appointment or not. IMO what your going through sounds completely normal and what every woman has dealt with a some point.

Oh no no no no I don’t have an OBGYN 🙅🏼♀️ That would be cause for a serious panic attack which could possibly sent me into a bigger mess lol I don’t do doctors. All they do is hand out death sentences (well, it seems like it). I want to figure out a way to balance out my hormones, maybe naturally? I’m not a hippie or anything or like really into natural stuff but something natural seems like maybe it would help? Any suggestions?

My obgyn is my fav Dr. I found a women Dr .. once you go, you will be so glad you did. They understand so much what's going on with our bodies, how we feel.. i enjoy my yearly visits lol. Talk this out with your counselor on how you can rationalize going to an obgyn.. steps to get there. It's important for women to have yearly appointments. It's absolutely not a death sentence. The Dr would be the one to ask about hormone related issues. They can do a simple blood test to see if you even have one. I always thought I did but I never do.. all my blood work comes back normal. I also prefer natural remedies.. but I'd ask my Dr about that first as well.. hugs. Talk this out with your counselor.. I know she helps you a lot. How often do you see her? My therapist helps me with upcoming tests.. like I have my mammogram in a week and we have been talking about it lol
Holls 1505 Posted June 20, 2019 Also I'm dizzy again.. lol remember we just talked about that last week. 🤪😜 Light headed whatever it is . It's annoying.
Iugrad91 501 Posted June 20, 2019 I agree with Holls, find a doctor you can trust and feel comfortable with. My primary is amazing. She knows about my anxiety and doesn’t feed into it by doing unnecessary testing. She tells me straight up what she thinks. I maybe go once or twice a year other than my annual physical (this year was back problems and a pulled muscle) but I can email her with questions if I need to. Having a doc that knows you can be helpful when something does come up, knowing your history (more than answers on a questionnaire) is important. They do not just give out bad news if you go for a yearly physical. If you’re only going when something is bothering you it can feel that way, but building a relationship with a doctor can be helpful when things do pop up.
Riles 3 Posted June 20, 2019 I have the same fear of doctors but I still make myself go if I’m feeling unwell. When telling my husband about my fear and avoidance about doctors he told me that even if you do have the disease you say you do there’s nothing you can do about it and it’s best to go the the doctor anyway to get some knowledge what’s going on instead of running away from it. He’s right. Even if I am sick, I can’t do anything about it so I might as well face it head on and get some treatment for it. If it’s about the fear of dying early don’t I want a fighting chance at what I’m facing? Doctors are here to keep us healthy, it’s their jobs. They don’t hand out death sentences they hand out diagnoses AS WELL as treatment plans. I think A good step for you would be to make an appointment with a PCP just for a simple checkup. I had one last week and he literally just took my vitals (blood pressure, temperature), asked my family history and if there was anything I was concerned out then sent me on my way. Super not scary and a great first step if going to the doctor is a struggle for you. I also agree with Holls about talking to a doctor about natural remedies, because you can never be sure about things you read online or what’s best for your body. eyedw 1 Posted June 23, 2019 Try to find a doctor to manage your anxiety first ( at least they wont be handing out death sentences lol). When you feel like you're getting better, and everything falls into place with your period, then you know what the culprit is. I'm sure you are physically fine though. Goodluck Bejeweled!
