Aneurysm on hand?

Recommended Posts

I just saw at the back of my hand, my skin is light and I see my veins. That one of the veins is big, width wise and it hurts. I know it’s not a bruise or that I’ve gotten hit there. What if it’s and aneurysm in my hand? I’m freaking out.... Ugh I just googled pics of it and although it’s not bulging like in those pics it’s in the spot/area where most hand aneurysms happen. I am now having a full panic attack.

I’ve been trying to post a pic. Today I’ve also felt dizzy, and short of breath/air hunger. Y’all know me and doctors. I don’t want think I can go in for this. It’s an inch below the knuckle of my pointer finger.

And my hand hurts now. Is it psychosomatic? Or did this think just pop up and when it stung when I touched my hand, and that just has aggravated it?

Tried talking to the hubs. He just ignored it. Trying to talk to a friend, she did the same. They just said I must have bumped it, it’s a bruise. But it doesn’t look like a bruise it looks like the vein it swollen.

If it were an aneurysm then you really would know about it.  You have most likely bumped your hand without consciously recognising it and the week bruise has formed around your vein.  The rest of what you're feeling is the fear based 'takeover' we are all so used to.  Honestly, nothing to worry about.  Place some ice on the area if it's particularly sore.

How would I know when I think everything is out to kill me? It just doesn’t look like a bruise. I marked it. Just to see if it grows. Weird thing is that I woke up right now and I have pain from my wrist to my elbow.

My whole arm is hurting now. And right now I felt like something was wiggling it’s way up my arm. Elbow hurts a ton.

Now that your focused on it you are having and noticing more sensations. That’s anxiety’s #1 trick.

This is the progression of suggestion.  Your analysing every sensation which is in turn creating more.

You guys are right my whole arm did stop hurting when I stopped thinking about it. But it really does hurt while I’m using the hand. Just the hand though. I massaged the area and when I move it the discoloration moves with the skin while the veins stay in place. So maybe it is just a bruise. But having a bruise by a major nerve has taught me that he whole limb can hurt from just that bump. Maybe it’s the same deal here.

Oh yes, a bruise can send pain all over the place pending on whether it has agitated certain nerves.  Nothing to worry about, it will go in good time i assure you.
