HELP! Freaking out

Recommended Posts

I'm having these fast flutters, not palps, not 100% it is heart. I can't feel the flutters in pulse, but thinking it is mitral valve related?? Could it just be high in the stomach flutters? Left side of chest near ribs, and under left breast.

Thanks. Calmed down some. Think it's stomach or muscle twitches. Freaking scared me though.

Left side under the breast is very possibly gas. We get a lot of extra wind down into our system during the day and ' mouth breathers' do it even worse and anxious people are almost always ' mouth breathers'. We're almost always in a state of near GASP , which is mouth agape and lots of air going in.

I've had something similar where it's a vibration feeling in that region.  I believe it's gas.  It's annoying because it feels like a cell phone on vibrate and will just go off for about 10 seconds and stop and continue like that sometimes for days.  I don't think it's anything to worry yourself about. :)

Thanks, kinda does feel like vibrations for a few seconds and then stops, may come back. I was able to check my pulse when it happened and didn't fell a variation in the pulse, so I'm hoping it is just gas/GERD related.

That happened to me too . I still have this " food stuck in throat " sensation and chest pain for about a week now . I try not to think about it . How long do GERDs last ? x_x"

I agree with the suggestions here as well. GERD causes that for me. I take a PPI and it has helped greatly, but I think I also get typical muscle twitches/spasms in the area, too.
