Mark G 1186 Posted January 15, 2016 All starts in your neck, sounds like you have tension in those muscles which is causing the sensations in your head. These sensation are then assigned an emotion, fear. This sensitizes the nerves and amplifies the signal. Try to work on relaxing your neck, dropping the shoulders. If you can remove the tension then you will feel results.

Kylie21 357 Posted January 16, 2016 i get eye twitches and weird sensations in my face from my neck tension all the time.. all those muscles are connected. Nothing to be alarmed by.. try a heating pad on your neck... a hot shower things like that..
Mark G 1186 Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) Yes, eye twitches are all interconnected and amplified by your anxiety. Edited January 16, 2016 by Mark G
tarn 51 Posted January 28, 2016 I get twitches a lot, my whole leg or foot or hand or finger or arm will just move - its so fast I don't even see it, but I feel it, then I stare at the area intently for a few minutes waiting for it to happen again. Its worse when I'm stressed! If I'm really nervous my fingers twitch wildly its horrible.
tarn 51 Posted January 28, 2016 I took Magnesium for the muscle spasms seemed to help a lot.
Mark G 1186 Posted January 28, 2016 You stare at the area waiting for it to happen. That's a sure fire way of making it happen through nervous anticipation. Last year my foot felt numb and my leg kept going really hot and tingly. This scared me, i went to the doctors about it, got xrays taken, the works, nothing was found. I felt my leg at all times, i felt every footstep when i walked. My leg started to lose it positioning in my mind, it was so strange. It was anxiety, nervous introspection, gazing. I genuinely did not believe that the mind could be that powerful. I cannot stress this fact enough, if you gaze at any part of your body with the fear of the symptom you are feeling, you will continue that feeling. When you let go of it, it fades. My leg feels perfectly fine again now, blips now and then of course but i do not fear it anymore and the symptom has gone. It's worse when you're stressed.. EXACTLY. The finger twitch again is anxiety. You have trigger points in your fingers, much like the knee jerk reflex under your knee cap, that, when under stress, fire and cause the twitch. Its the same cause for people with shaky hands. It's all nerve based and anxiety and stress effect nerves and the central nervous system. I take magnesium also, most people don't get enough of it in their diets.
