Hi Lostsoul, welcome to the forums. You're in good company here, lots of us experience similar feelings! When I experience a bad day, I find it helps to remember that that's what it is: a bad day, and no more. If there are bad days then there are also good days, and I find it helps to remember that, thinking to myself 'this bad day will pass sooner or later, and I will have a good day again!'.

Hi lostsoul. So sorry not to have seen your post before. Welcome to the forum, and I hope we can be of some help. Everyone here has 'been there' so know how you feel. 'Lost' is a good word to describe anxiety. But we are not you know! On any map there is always a way out and you need a good compass and some help to get 'unlost'. It takes time to learn to read a map properly as it does to recover from anxiety, which you can and will do. The problem may lay in your remark that you are in a constant 'battle' with yourself every day. You have  turned your anxiety into a battleground and battles create more tension, more anxiety. Have a good look around the site, and under GAD look at all the marked posts relating to how you feel. If you have any questions or seek further advice then we are here for you.     Jon.
