But , in a way, also our greatest asset. I'd like to point out that if our brain is ' strong enough ' to make us so miserable we must then remember our brain is ' strong enough' to help us out of it as well. Right?  We feel like our brain is ' weak ' to put us in this state, but it's actually very powerful and once we channel that power, boom !

In one way it's true - When we think about other aspects

''Like physical violence !''

We would be scared of we are affected physically and the way is to avoid contact with that person ,

I've tried to make friends or something with so called enemies .

In the end they just stab me in the back or physically assault me for nothing.

So I wouldn't agree on this fully in all aspects of this Buddha philosophy ,as time has also changed .

I know if I would show myself to my worst enemy he would try to make me cripple like breaking my legs and also arms.

So it's worse than unguarded thoughts.

Thoughts leads also to answers - As we think we find new answers for other stuff and there isn't any unguarded thoughts.

But I got bullied a lot in kindergarten and also school time ,so I would say that I understand meaning of this more than some other people ,who are just scared of their thoughts and expressing them .

I'm not against Buddha philosophy in any way , I'm just expressing my opinion .

Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts. - Buddha
