Elf 7 Posted June 12, 2014 Lately, I've picked up hiking. I used to walk in the mountains with my parents when I was little but I hadn't done it for long. I go with an organized group and it's wonderful! And it usually doesn't cause me any anxiety as it doesn't include crossing any wide open spaces; the opposite: it's all about avoiding obstacles and walking on small paths. It makes me feel strong and healthy, confident in my body, in touch with nature and really calm. Are there any hikers on this site?
JOYCICLE 654 Posted June 12, 2014 I do not hike. I live nowhere near a mountain or even a hill. BUT , good for you . That sounds like a great way to burn off energy and enjoy yourself as well. Keep moving and improving
LawrenceBell 3 Posted June 13, 2014 I might going to try hiking. I think it will be a great adventure to sight wonders of nature plus looking on a high place is refreshing and serene on the feeling. Hiking can reduced risk of depression and feeling less stress. It also good for the bone health and gives you a better sleep at night. Thanks for the idea.
