Warm Sensation Behind Neck and Back

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My health anxiety is at an awful state, my mind keeps thinking of any possible illness I could have but I try to distract myself.

My doctor diagnosed me with benign lipoma yesterday (soft lump above my right collarbone) and since then I felt a burning sensation from the back of my neck running to my entire back . I also feel tension on my neck and back and a headache . Really trying my best to convince it's nothing .

Hi. I'm sorry your anxiety is high right now. I have had that burning sensation when my anxiety gets really high. Tension too! When you are at an anxious state I think your body responds in different ways and I've read here many times other people that have both the burning and tension. I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Once your anxiety calms, so will these sensations. Hugs. Happy New Year

It's worry more than anything - that can cause tightened muscles.  Remember - the word BENIGN.  No cancer.
