PennyPanic 276 Posted January 5, 2022 So I have my usual checkups next week. I usually schedule them in the summer time but everything got all off track during these 2 covid years and here I am facing the new year with this hanging over my head. I have my usual bloodwork with one doctor and then my well woman exams (mammo, pap, etc...) with my gyno. At least I get them over with together. The only thing wrong last time was my blood glucose was 1 point over normal but my doc was not concerned at all. I know you understand when I say I absolutely abhor this...I hate this a lot...like a lot lot lot...and I'm already worrying. In fact, I was worried in December. Which is why I schedule them in the summer but alas. Anyhow, any "atta girls" or "you go girl" or "you got this" or whatever would be appreciated as would any prayers for all good results. Ironman 198 Posted January 7, 2022 Atta girl........You go, girl.......You got this! LOL Since you are checked frequently, there isn't a lot of time for the bad stuff to fester and grow, if you catch my drift. Even if you develop tailbone cancer or a tumor in your fingernail, it would be caught so early, it wouldn't be funny. That's really what you have to think about. I love it when I go to my doctor and he asks "what are you here for?" LOL
MARC 431 Posted January 8, 2022 I have been going to my ENT physician for 30 years and if I ever come in during tax season he says to me what are you doing here as you should be in your office doing taxes.
PennyPanic 276 Posted February 1, 2022 So here's the rest of the story...all checks ups came back perfect even the blood glucose. Now you'd think I'd find peace in that right? Well HA is a funny (not so funny) thing... isn't it?
