jdgate 9 Report post Posted July 27, 2020 My mother's truck was broken so she needed me to take her places to run errands including the mall. I worn my face shield the whole time, germ-x my hands, and stayed away from people as much as I could. Toward the end of the trip, I noticed my throat feeling scratchy/raw and I took some sinus medicine but its still bothering me. Paranoid that it's covid and I'm going to get super sick. Iugrad91 500 Report post Posted July 27, 2020 Well if it is you certainly didn’t catch it when you drove your mom around for errands. It wouldn’t cause symptoms that quickly. The incubation period is a couple of days to two weeks, meaning you wouldn’t feel symptoms until after that period of time. Hojo 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2020 Hey, I’m sure you’re ok. We all get dry throats and scratchy throats at random times. Hopefully that’s what you experienced. Also it’s good to remember that we used to get all sorts of colds and sore throats etc pre covid. And we will still get them in the future.
