Heal 13 Posted March 28, 2019 Has any one felt that eating anything eases some of the anxiety symptoms? Or being hungry triggers anxiety?
jonathan123 2367 Posted March 28, 2019 Hi. ANYTHING can trigger anxiety. If you convince yourself that eating helps your anxiety, or being hungry triggers it then so be it. It's what you believe in and how convinced you are about it. Belief is powerful. So many in this world today are so convinced of many things that really either don't matter or are things that we can't do anything about anyway. It could be physiological. When you eat blood goes to the stomach to aid digestion. Therefore the brain has less blood. That's why we so often feel sleepy after a big meal. When this wears off the brain returns to normal and back comes the energy for irrational thought. The only control we have over this is to TRY and reason with 'IT'. See it for what it is, a bodily function which is normal.
