RachelStorm98 12 Posted February 11, 2019 Great. I got sepsis... on top of the flu. I haven't had a fever for a day or two well guess what? It's backkkk 98.9.... great. Well guess who is gonna die? Me. 🙄 My kidneys already are not working well because of the flu.... *sigh* Guess I'll go see if a friend can take me in. I'll have them prick my arm again and check for Sepsis... -_- I need to catch it in less than 24 hours... I can't wait for me to go into shock my chance of survival will probably only be 5%... if I am lucky. I think it is sepsis. My fever came on suddenly. I knew it was gonna come back and hit me in the ass... it was inching higher and higher last night... UGH. I wanted to just have the flu not sepsis on top of it. I feel like I want to barf up my dinner from last night, idk maybe a fever from the flu can come back a day or two later. Good thing I can call someone to speak to today. By that I mean a shrink. RachelStorm98 12 Posted February 11, 2019 Hopefully sepsis from Influenza is rare. I do know that my follicluitis got worse. 😕 More red and inflamed and the pus is there. Yuck!

You can't be serious...you have the flu. Let it be! You don't have sepsis and have never have. LET IT GO! You have already been checked, and it was shown you were fine.
Iugrad91 501 Posted February 11, 2019 You do realize that 98.7 is normal. You don’t have sepsis. I don’t even think you have the flu. I think you have anxiety and a need for attention.

You want proof I have the flu I have the paperwork to prove it. In fact I'll upload a picture of it later today. I'm sorry I am just kinda offended you would say such a thing. And my temperature last night was 98.9. Anything over 98.6 can be considered a fever. This morning I was running a fever and I feel like someone set my body on fire. It's the weirdest thing. The follicluitis on my leg and arm are sources of infection so that is still a concern. It is not a good thing to get Sepsis on top of Influenza. My chances of survival are lower. Gravely lower. I felt fine for like a day and then HERES JHONNY It came back. 😢 And Sepsis can happen at any time I still have follicluitis on my leg and now I have some on my arm. I missed a day of the antibiotic treatment so I have to pick back up on it. I am sorry for being upset this morning I understand people have their opinions I just feel offended. I'll be speaking to someone later today.

He uses special hair gel. They can also get you a cream to help burn it off. Sorry you feel offended, but anything below 100 is not a fever in the slightest. RachelStorm98 12 Posted February 11, 2019 I still have to make sure I am not running a dangerously high fever. Mine is stubborn as heck to get a rid of. I hope I feel better. I feel fire all over my body ouch! The site is hot and red to the touch and I feel dizzy and loopy and out of it. I need to get some more rest but my head hurts. 😢
Iugrad91 501 Posted February 11, 2019 I’m sorry I offended you. You keep coming back here with the same worries. You are wrong when you say anything over 98.7 is a fever. It is not. Anything over 100 in adults is a fever. Sepsis cannot happen at any time. It happens when you have an infection and it gets into your blood stream. It does not come and go and cannot happen out of nowhere. Please see your doctor about your anxiety and take whatever meds they may have given you for the flu so you can feel better and rid yourself of this worry. You’ve been to the ER twice already and they have sent you home with no sepsis. You will be fine.

My temperature went back down. 98.6 I think if I had the other thing it wouldn't of have done that. I just need to focus on getting some more rest. And I apologize for being a jerk, I had a mental breakdown today. I hate anxiety so much it has made my life worse and I feel like I wasted my entire life. I could die at 20. I could die at 40, 60, 80. I don't know when I will be taken from this earth. What I need to do is start believing in an afterlife. Like heaven or something. Iugrad91 501 Posted February 11, 2019 Same. Anxiety caused a lot of stress and makes us cranky, myself included. I have read that believing in some sort of afterlife or higher being can make one less anxious but I just can’t do it 🤔 I try to stay in the moment and not worry about the past or future. We are here now and that’s the only moment we can truly live in. Yoga and meditation have helped me but I have to do it every day.
RachelStorm98 12 Posted February 11, 2019 Well that is good! I used to do meditation but I stopped that sadly. I just need to get back into believing in God. I also need to think about happy things like my crush. ❤️

Low platlet count (Mine was 169 to 179.) Blood in urine (I thought I saw a little when I went pee the last time but I am also on my period.) Severe pain Sleepy Fatigue Pain Redness around the folliculitis as well as white pus. Coughing Chest pain Needing to urinate a lot Absent bowel sounds Abdominal pain Nausea Fast pulse rate Sweating Numbness in extremities (lower back, in my colon area.) Feeling faint Feeling of doom or a real fear of death Cold and clammy skin Severe muscle pain and extreme discomfort. Warmer skin (It fluctuates) A low temperature. (Under 96.8) Higher heart rate. (Higher than 90 beats per minute.) Patches of discolored skin (does red count?) Problems breathing. ( Last night I felt like someone sat on my chest and it literally took my breath away.) Skin rash I am really thinking I have that as something is obviously wrong with my colon. It felt swollen last night and I haven't been able to really go to the bathroom. My pelvic region really hurts. My back gets cold and numb and then gets warm. I haven't had a bowel movement in about a day. The last time I went it was soft and green in color. I don't think that it was normal. I feel like I am gonna die. I feel like my colon is failing. *sigh* I don't know what to do. They can't freaking find it. 😢 Literally everything there can be caused by anxiety. Everything. Organ failure can't, but "no crapping" and frequent urination are classic anxiety. I have had every single symptom you describe at one point or another, many times all together. You have to treat the anxiety--it is your real issue. Until you do that, this is going to persist. You are so far down the rabbit hole you are neglecting to see the emergency right in front of you, which is your anxiety. Treat it with the same urgency you would treat the medical issues. Anxiety symptoms from one website, and this is not even remotely a comprehensive list: feeling nervous, tense, or fearful restlessness panic attacks, in severe cases a rapid heart rate fast breathing, or hyperventilation sweating shaking fatigue weakness dizziness difficulty concentrating sleep problems nausea digestive issues feeling too cold or too hot chest pain

Hey? I feel bad... for all of this running around. I am scared I put myself in real danger. I never have bruises from an IV. So I don't know if I am gonna be okay. It's still there 2 days later... and I am concerned about internal bleeding to my brain... they checked it out and said it was fine. People get bruises sometimes. A lot of them are even worse than mine was. They pricked me a few days ago near my other bruise because they needed to. So I am just a little nervous. I can't seem to find anything about bleeding internally from an IV needle. Thank you I really hope so I hate living like this... I am so scared... I feel like I put myself in an even deeper hole. *sigh* I hope just being sick with the flu (something a medical professional officially diagnosed me with. Can cause the head to ache in the back or the top of it.) I hope that I didn't give myself internal bleeding. I would of have made a separate topic but I felt it would be best to keep it in here. I hope I will be okay. 😢
