Hey all, I recently started having these skipped beats/flutters for about 1 1/2 years now. In the time frame I have had multiple EKGs and Echocardiogram which came back fine. The past few months I was feeling great with limited to no epeisodes. Didn’t even think about them. Until last week. Started to feel a few a day. Today I woke up with one when I got out of bed and then had another during eating breakfast. I decided to go to the ER. They gave me and EKG and took vitals and said everything seemed fine and sent me on my way. Said I should look into getting a 24 hour monitor since it’s tough to catch them. I was hoping someone had some insight from experience to calm me down. For some reason it’s much scarier this time around. They always reassure me that I’m fine but it sure doesn’t feel like it. It’s starting to affect my day to day activities always wondering when another will come...I Thanks

Heart palpitations, and the sensation of weight on my chest in recent weeks brought me to the walk-in clinic/family practice by my work, where I had an EKG and heartbeat observed by my doc and his NP. My EKG was clear, and he ordered a blood test for my thyroid levels and possible vitamin D & B complex deficiencies. Bloodwork was fine, everything within normal ranges (B was normal but could be higher), but he noted my AST liver enzymes were 41... normal range is 5-40. ALT was 20, within normal range. Dr. is not worried about this, but I am! Last year my ALT levels were 15 and 20 on two different tests so it has slowly been going up. Until recently I drank heavily for 5-6 years, and spent a week in Vegas a month ago. Have drastically reduced intake because I am considering going off birth control because of uterine fibroids. How high of levels are truly considered too high? Never had this before. Also... he refilled my script for Xanax again. He probably knows I will be back sooner than later without it :/ (Weight sensation on chest has gone away, so I think this may have just been anxiety)
