On and off I get pains in my left arm/shoulder and sometimes in the middle of my back. I'm 25, but I'm freaking out that in having a heart attack. It's random all over that area. Maybe tensing up? It's scaring me pretty bad though.

I was putting my makeup on a couple days ago and turned my neck. I saw my lymph node poking out on the left side under my ear. It doesn't hurt at all. When I feel both side of my neck the left side is bigger. It's as big as a Lima bean or 2 of my fingers. I'm really freaking out about this.

Thanks guys. I had a better day/night, but now I can see a swollen lymph node on my neck now. It's making me even more stressed. It doesn't hurt either, could it be a small cold/infection? I don't have any other symptoms I'm just tired.

Hi guys, I haven't been here in a while. But I could really use some help. I'm on a trip for work and I just had a panic attack. I got through it, but all I want to do is go home. I don't fly out until Friday. What do I do!? That's four days! I'm really upset...
-
That makes me feel better. Thank you. It's been a while since I've gotten sick like this.
-
Thank you. I actually just got out of a hot shower. I'm im still feeling a little tense. And am a little worried of the color of what came up. It was a bit brown. I dont think that means blood though...
-
So I got sick...in the sink. Wasn't my greatest moment lol. Anyway I feel better! But my chest hurts. I think I pulled something getting sick.
-
I feel so bad at the moment. I'm so bloated my stomach feels extremely tight and uncomfortable. I just woke up thinking I was going to get sick from it...heck I wanted to get sick so this tightness would go away. I know this is from what I ate today but it's making me feel really anxious. I've put a heating pad on my stomach in hopes it'll losen some of my stomach muscles. I hate that my stomach does this.

I had a lot of palps about a month ago. When I was worrying about them I came a long this thread "To those who suffer from palpitations" It's long but really helped me from worrying about the palps. I booked marked it even to re-read in case I started fearing them again. It explains why palps can be caused by anxiety and stress. It even talks about the coughing sensation we get when we experience a palp! Anyway my palps went away. And I'm sure yours will too!

I had a small panic attack that lasted only about 2 min. Was really not that huge of a deal. I knew though it was probably because I was really hungry. I woke up early this morning really hungry. I was still tired though and chose sleep over food. When I woke up the second time though I felt awful and shaky which turned to a panic attack. I ate and finally felt better. Does anyone else get like this? After eating so much over Christmas I decide to pretty much cut out everything I knew had a lot of sugar in it. So maybe the abrupt change caused it?

Ugh the burning sensations are the worst. But i know everytime I get that feeling in my shoulders I know for a fact its my anxiety. Then I can start calming myself down knowing thats all it is. I sometimes get symptoms when I'm not feeling overly anxious. Usually its me subconsciously being stressed.

Usually when my anxiety is acting up especially when I'm having palps I put a really cold ice pack on my chest. The extreme cold distracts me from focusing on the paplpataions. Its also good on the neck. I know a lot of us have palpations because of anxiety. Thought I share since my palps have been happening a lot recently.

Yes Jonathan I'm very impatient especially with anxiety! I know when it first hit me and I was doing bad a year ago I just wanted to stop and be better like a cold or something. I finally figured that that was not going to happen. So I slowly started pushing myself to get out again and training my brain to not think in worse case scenarios. Of course I still get rough days here and there but no were near what it was. I'm am thankful!

Thank you all! The palpitations are slowly going away. I had like 2 today and that was it! I also feel like I have a better handle on my anxiety than I did a year ago. As most with anxiety I feel my symptoms more than others. I just need a little reassurance now and then. Thanks again!
-
Thank you to you both. I'm trying really hard to ignore them. I catch myself making up stories in my head thinking they're something bad. Distracting myself when this happens is my best solution for now.

This is the fifth day with almost consistent palpitations. Ive had about 40+ each day. I still have a cold, and I'm trying really hard to ignore them. But its hard when they keep happening. I went to the Dr and she only did some blood work. which came back fine. I wish she would have done an ekg or something. These palpitations feel different than most I've had. I feel like my hearts "catching" like it pauses then it thuds. Like when you go down a steep hill in a car feeling. My hearts not racing after it happens which is good. I'm also not having full blown panic attacks. I just wish it would stop feeling like this though.

Thank you all for the reassurance. I'm still having them off and on. It's just a bit frightening. I've had some small anxiety attacks today and I haven't had any for a wile. I think being sick has brought them on. Its hard to do my breathing exercises when I can't breath through my nose lol!

I keep getting this drop feeling almsot center of my chest, at the end of chest bone. It feels like my heart skips a beat. This has happened 10+ times since last night. I thought it was just gas/indegestion but it hasn't stopped. plus I've had a cold for the past 3 days which isn't helping the stress levels. Maybe it'sjust air moving around in my stomach? I really hate the feeling and I want it to go away

Over the past 4 months I've been hearing my heart in my right ear only. It sounds like when a pregnant woman gets an ultrasound and you hear the baby's heartbeat. Like a wooshing sound synced with my heart. It's making me nervous. And I did what I wasn't supposed to...I googled it thinking it wasnt a big deal. The wooshing isn't constant but it's annoying. Especially with anxiety and I don't like hearing my heartbeat.

I have had almost all my anxiety symptoms go away (Unless im having a bad day of course). But I have stomach cramps almost everyday expecially before going to the bathroom. I'm starting to overthink it and its making me think the worst. Does anyone else having daily stomach pain related to going to the bathroom?
-
Thank you. I feel better, it just sucks because it feels so awful in the moment. My brain can't just shut up for a moment and think rationally enough to tell myself its only anxiety.
-
My anxiety levels have been pretty average latley. Get stressed here and there but not enough to give me panic attacks. Until just now. I was having a great day not thinking of anything that would give me anxiety. Then I ate and started getting bloated. I fell asleep and then woke up into a full blown anxiety attack. Heart racing, dizziness, arns and legs felt weak. I feel awful. As I'm writing this I'm feeling my symptoms going away, but I still have that fear. Its like I fogot how to deal with a panick attack because I haven't had one in a long time. The thought of going to the hospital is there and I hate it.

Hi all, it has been a wile since I've posted here. It has been about a year since my horrible anxiety experience. I have been doing really well over the last couple of months. Not freaking out and refraing myself from googling my health symptoms. Latley though I've been under small life stresses. I feel like the anxiety is wanting to come back. I'm starting to get chest pain everyonce and a wile and it makes me nervous. I'm just worried that I'll fall back into my old routine. Maybe it will go away with rest. And I'm no where near to being as anxious as I once was. It's just nerve rackin because I know how awful I felt then.
-
Thank you both. I have nightmates almost always, thankfully the dreams where I can't breath don't happen a lot. They are just more frightening than the others because it feels like it is actually happening.

I just woke up from a nightmare where I couldn't breath because I was crying too hard. But it was like I couldn't take in any air at all. I woke up and I wasn't gasping for air or anything. It felt more like when your watching a movie where someone is drowing and it almost makes you feel like you can't breath. It just has me a bit scared because what if I stopped breathing in my sleep. I've had one nightmare like this before a couple months ago, so they don't happen often.
