  1. Hi Jo, glad that you found us here! Is this the first time that you've had HA or from what I got from this post is that you've had it before and made it through it! It's sounds like to me it's Exectly what you said, all that stress and anxiety had finally caught up to you! I'm the same Exect way...I've always had small bouts of HA and then in December, right after a super stressful time, it became full blown with 2 ER visits and 3 doctor changes...I'm better but still struggling everyday. The best thing I can say to you is to use this forum as a sounding board for how you are feeling. I understand not being able to be completely honest with family because they will look down on you. Find a person or a place you can go and be honest with what you are struggling with! Good luck!
  2. GERD, at least to me, is very distinct. The pain is in the center of my chest that feels like my chest is burning. There is a dull pain after a really bad attack. For me after it was really bad, left me in tears
  3. I have a lot of chest pain and most of the time it's either GERD or muscle pain. Most of the time if it's when I breath it's muscular
  4. Could be that you just slept in the wrong position or even just turned the wrong way and angered a muscle
  5. So my shortness of berth has been getting worse and of course then the anxiety gets worse. My doctor in March, said that it sounds like seasonal asthma. When I was younger, I had allergies to everything and asthma. Then as I grew older, it went away and I really didn't have many symptoms, I even became a runner. My question is, does asthma and allergies go away and come back? Could this just be because my allergies have changed and this is just such a bad allergy season?
  6. The problem I have now is that I'm convinced this SOB is a symptom of Lung C
  7. Thanks guys! I think I would describe my feeling as having to make a ln extra effort to breath than normal. But it's weird because I only really feel it when I'm sitting and not when I'm up and moving
  8. How do you guys know if you are short of breath? I know the official definition is when you feel like you can't take a deep breath but that's not Exectly how I feel...I'm not sure if how I'm feeling is shortness of breath....
  9. Does anyone have middle back pain when laying down and taking a deep breath? Could that just be muscle pain?
  10. Do what you need to do to put your mind at ease but if you just had a CBC in November, you really shouldn't have anything to worry about.
  11. Thanks guys...I think my issue is that I'm so use to having a pretty low heart rate, that anything above 80 when resting makes me really feel like my heart is beating out of my chest!
  12. What kind of heart rate do people count as a racing heart rate? I normally have a heart rate between 60-70...recently my heart rate has been 85-100. Would you count that as a scary racing heart rate? I'm scared because it's so different than normal...

    PE

I think it's the length of my symptoms that scare me... Also, I have a stupid app on my phone where you can ask doctors questions and try answer. One said yes to my question and it scared me more
