maria26 2 Posted September 1, 2018 Can anyone tell me if ibs can cause pains in your upper thigh on side, I am worried it is bone cancer. Had x rays hip pelvis all ok but would it show. Have ibs and lower left pains but can it refer to leg. This started a few days after a brutal colonoscopy without sedation which I had due to my anxiety over the ibs pains. Again fine but now this. Please has anyone had pains there with ibs. I have awful cancer phobia so need any help I can get

When I had diverticulitis (which you don't have) it did the same.. it was an irritation in my colon so yes, I would think that is would do that as well as being sore from your procedure. Hugs.its not cancer. Just rest, heating pad and Tylenol helps when mine hurt. I've expressed this concern to my gyno and gi Dr and neither one acted at all concerned.. the gi Dr actually just changed the subject lol.. shows how much he was worried.
