Hi vnb, wecome to AC.

What symptoms are you having? Are they the same symptoms you had before you started the med?

Has anything changed in your life to trigger a flare up and the symptoms to return?

What dose are you taking? Have you been on the same dose for 4 years? It might be that you need an adjustment or a new med.

I know you said on chat that you don't want to suffer the side effects of an increase in dose, but sometimes because the med is already in your system the side effects can be less troublesome. I would talk to your doctor about it.

Try not to worry, try and rest and see if in a few days it passes. If not I'd go see your doctor.

You should go and see your GP if you have not already done so. You may have reached the 'tolerance' level with Fluoxetine. Some drugs cease to have any effect after prolonged use as the body becomes 'tolerant' to them. Your GP may decide to change the prescription. What form does your anxiety take? Have you looked at any other way of treating yourself? Try not to worry overmuch. As Gilly says give it a few days. A it more info would be helpful.

Did you check your bottle to see if they gave you generic instead of brand name or visa versa? Also I found that when different companies make the medication it can sometime affect me differently. Talk with your pharmacist and discuss/compare your previous month.
