rainbow 333 Posted February 20, 2016 So Amber woke up today, telling herself it's going to be a great day.... fast forward maybe 30 mins later.... and boy did that thought spiral downwards.... the kids starting pushing my buttons... and i could feel the tension headache coming on.... than the kids left for their school in a crappy mood and i wasn't too happy either. i had to go for a waxing appointment....you MEN are so lucky you don't have to go through what us WOMAN GO THROUGH .... anyways i came across another client, a stranger, and she seemed pretty friendly..... when i was done i told her "NO PAIN NO GAIN" and we both laughed, and she said the thing us women go through.. and I said that is why God made women stronger last weekend it was minus 33 with the windchill here, now its a beautiful 8 degrees.. i can continue to be negative and or can i change my mindset and focus on the rest of day in a more positive way..... life is a choice... " CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS, CHANGE YOUR LIFE ".... I am really trying to work on that.... it can be a big struggle at times...believe me .......but i refuse to give up okay that was my dose of inspiration or whatever you call it... now i need to go soothe my eyebrows .... Have a great day everyone !!!!
Mark G 1186 Posted February 20, 2016 Oh yes Amber!! That's the way to be. So great to see the progress you're making. Anxiety really is in a situation now isn't it
rainbow 333 Posted February 20, 2016 Thanks Mark... i still have ups and downs....but i am just trying to live my life day by day... instead of all the " what if's that could happen" which in all probability is not going to happen and trying not to let my emotions get to me... because i tend to be a very emotional person by nature But its the patience part i think that is trying for most of us here... we want be better like in one day or two days or heck even a month... but the way we are is a lifetime of being of that being that way at least i know for me it is... that old habits are not easy to break away from ...LACK OF PATIENCE IS A BIG PROBLEM FOR ME
Mark G 1186 Posted February 20, 2016 It's the same with me. Lack of patience creates frustration which creates anxiety.. Such a bugger but with the knowledge we all have now, we will all get through it
