Strange sensation of heat

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever had an odd sensation of heat radiating through one of their limbs? For the last few days I’ve had this in my left leg, radiating out from my left buttock and down the back of my left leg. I’ve also had pain in my right leg.

Sounds like the sciatic nerve playing up. As with all nerves this one can be affected by anxiety, as can absolutely any part of the body. Heat, cold, sweats, trembling, vision problems..................shall I go on? I do hope you don't Google because if you do you will find you have the symptoms of Mongolian swamp fever, Mississippi water rash, Galloping miasmas and a whole bunch of other diseases you have never heard of.

:s.   If it still worries you get some proper medical advice.

None of us should be surprised that our doctors can find nothing wrong because there is nothing physically wrong. They are physicians, that word means physical. Going any further is beyond the vast majority of them. It's not their fault. Very little training is given in mental disorders so resorting to pills, or passing you off to a psychiatrist is all they can do. They do a great job in the physical field but mental, no.

Try not to focus too much on the symptoms you have. It all passes given time and acceptance.    Jon.

Thanks again Jon, I haven't done any googling or been to see the doc, I wanted first to speak to you guys on here to stop me doing those things! So thanks for the advice, that all sounds plausible :-)
