Dany 10 Posted December 1, 2014 Here is the right place to talk about your problems, people are really supportive and they share their experiences with everybody. I personally like this forum and found tons of good advice.

Hi rainshadow i am also new and like you suffer from PTSD for tramatic events. I hope both of us together can find peace here and friends. I also hope to get to know you better since we share similar problems.
jonathan123 2368 Posted July 3, 2015 Hi Starrynightowl71. Welcome to AC. . A lot of folk on this site have suffered or are suffering from PTSD. Do you want to tell us about why you do? We may be able to help. If you look under the relevant part of the site you will find some useful advice and if you read posts from others who have suffered in this way that can also help. Good to have you with us and come back whenever you wish. Jon.
jonathan123 2368 Posted July 3, 2015 I have just read your introduction notes. Sorry, should have looked there before replying. . Anxiety and depression often go hand in hand. After a long bout of anxiety depression often follows, though not necessarily. Meds can help a lot and if you find the right one then it gives you space to gather yourself together and look for a long term solution. As you will be aware, drugs don't cure anxiety. Your sight problem may not help although you may have adapted to that disability. I am sure there are others on the site who can relate to your specific problems. Jon.
