davide.h 26 Posted December 4, 2022 I still feel a certain discomfort in the bottom right part of my abdomen, hard to say what it is exactly. Feels a bit like gas but not exactly. I don't think that should only effect one side. My doctor said my colon had lots of activity when he felt it but still scared of the big CC.
Ironman 178 Posted December 4, 2022 The digestive tract goes back and forth. It probably is gas or constipation.
davide.h 26 Posted December 5, 2022 Just seems weird that it would be more prominent on one side. He said it could be a stomach bug but wasn't prescribed anything.

If it's gas or a constipation blockage, it would be localized. Water might help with that to start with. That would NOT be CC for sure - that's a whole different scenario that's further down anyway. davide.h 26 Posted December 5, 2022 well the intestines more generally I guess. Can't help being scared though. You seem confident that what I'm describing is different though.

You seem confident that what I'm describing is different though. The intestines are different than the colon. Digestive issue? I have lactose intolerance, so I know about the intestine pain that moves around. Constipation can do it too.

Dehydration leads to constipation. Your intestines pull water from you to get the poo going sometimes. The mucus to push it through relies on water. Check your urine color for dehydration. It should be pale lemonade in color. If it looks like water, you are overhydrated. If it's deep yellow to brown, you are dehydrated.
davide.h 26 Posted December 6, 2022 I am seeing a doctor tomorrow again. They hear lots of activity each time they check. I'm hoping that's a good sign and trying to let it calm me.

I struggle with dehydration even in the winter with the running I do.

Ironman 178 Posted December 22, 2022 If it's that bothersome, then talk to your doctor. Constipation and its pain is not a tumor. I had pains from constipation again today. It's dehydration and gas.
