Long time since posted but rough week

Recommended Posts

I know it’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted and have been doing fairly well with health anxiety. This week has started off rough - had routine labs done today prior to regular check up so that has me fairly nervous as usual as now awaiting for results. My 13 year old son came home from school today and said he has a swollen bump on back of his neck which looks like swollen lymph node. No other symptoms of illness or cold so far and no fever. Has anyone’s child had anything like this before? I called dr office and luckily can get him in tomorrow morning to get it checked. Praying all is ok with him and me both.

Kids get swollen lymph nodes all the time, if the doctor is going to look at it I wouldn't worry.

Any updates? I'm sure he's doing just well!

I’m sorry I didn’t realize this did get posted as I kept getting error messages. My son went to the doctor and he said the lymph felt swollen but very soft and moveable so he wasn’t concerned at all. By the following week - it went down. Thank God!
