ConstantWorrying 8 Posted February 24, 2021 This has been going on for a week or two now. While in the "technical" sense I'm not constipated, as I still have bowel movements every day, the amount of stool I pass is nowhere near as much as it should be given the quantity of food I eat. I'd say it's at about 30% of what it should be. I don't care about what the internet says...this is abnormal for me. Particularly because I can't figure out reason for it. MARC 431 Posted February 24, 2021 I would eat some very high fiber foods, such as a fiber one bar and see what happens. I have been to my GI physician a number of times as I have had an actual health issue around 15 years ago, a very painful esophageal ulcer. He has told me that frequency and quantity can change and not to worry unless I have bleeding, lose weight, can't go at all, etc. He has told me that fiber intake, fluid intake and exercise help. He told me stress, lifestyle changes, etc. can all influence your movements.
ConstantWorrying 8 Posted February 26, 2021 This is BAD. Haven't had the urge to go at ALL today. I suspect the minimal stools I passed the previous few days were whatever was left on the left side of the colon, and the cancer on the right side has completely blocked everything else. Forgot to mention my urine output has also been restricted, despite drinking TONS of water.
MARC 431 Posted February 26, 2021 Time to eat a big fiber meal.

I did finally just pass another small stool after eating dinner, but this is the worst constipation I've ever had. 1 hour ago, MARC said: How old are you? 36. MARC 431 Posted February 26, 2021 At 36 your risk is pretty low of anything serious. You could also try an OTC constipation remedy. You could also call your physician and see what he or she thinks you should do.
