AN97 0 Posted December 12, 2020 Hello, I was wondering if anyone can relate/help. I just started taking new anxiety medication a week ago and stoped taking my old medicines (Zoloft and Klonopin) which I was taking for about 4 years or longer. I get very anxious switching up my medicines so every time I have to take it I get very anxious. I have been very anxious and depersonalized/ derealized throughout this week. Also this has led to some trouble falling asleep because I can’t stop obsessing over it. I become obsessed with my thoughts and how I’m feeling. I struggle with ocd intrusive thoughts l, Anxiety , and depersonalization I was wanting to know if anyone has any advice or Cab relate. Thanks
biisectris 0 Posted April 27, 2021 I think that all advice on medication is best discussed with your doctor.
Xenon 0 Posted April 29, 2021 I never found that any kind of pill helps. If I drink a half bottle of Robitussin I don't feel anything, but that's not something you should do.
Doug97 19 Posted September 22, 2021 You shouldn't just stop klonopin, it needs to be tapered down. It annoys me that so many doctors don't know this. You will be suffering withdrawal symptoms, which are all the same as severe anxiety.
