What could a thin, horizontal bulge bordering the right epigastric vein be besides cancer?

Recommended Posts

In the context of having noticed asymmetry further up (the part that naturally sticks out below the belly button sticks out slightly further to the right), as well as visible paristalsis, about two years ago, I just don't understand how I'm still alive.

I did read that right side colon cancers can be asymptomatic for a lot longer because of the size of the colon there and the stools being liquid. But this doesn't really seem in the region of the cecum. It starts at around the epigastric vein and goes horizontally in towards the center of my abdomen. It seems to align more with the small bowel.

Then again, I'm not sure how reliable those diagrams are when it comes to human anatomy.

This sounds like a lot of googling and irrational thinking. 😞 Have you seen your primary? I simple stomach (push) exam would relieve a ton of your worries.

My friend had colon cancer and she had dark blood and blood clots in her stool... She's cancer free now. I also had a coworker that had colon cancer, she is fine now too and she had blood in stools. Her's was in the higher colon .
