unicorn 4 Posted January 11, 2020 Hi all, Yesterday, I just noticed that it feels like something was on my eye and I kept trying to rub it off . I checked on the mirror to see what it was and I saw a tiny white bump on the lower right corner of my left eye . I couldn't get rid off it and it's still on my eye until today . I didn't google it 'cause I'm way too scared . Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this ? I drew what it looks like:
Nat1996 23 Posted January 11, 2020 I had the same thing back a couple of months ago but it was on my inner bottom lid and I just happened to notice it when I was cleaning my face/rubbing my eyes in the mirror. I did the research at that time because me and Dr. Google go way back 😜 and everything said they're normal, can happen to anyone and are more likely to appear if you've been in windy, dusty, sandy or dry air recently. Can also come from irritation of your lashes falling out and or make up if you wear any! Long story short I just kept an eye on mine and decided if it got worse or started to bother me I would go get it looked at but after about a week it was completely gone on its own. I recommend just waiting it out unless it becomes bothersome and I'm sure it'll resolve on it's own 🙂 you could also grab some artificial tears from the drug store if you feel your eyes are dry which may irritate it. Best of luck to you 🙂

I almost googled it 'cause I was so scared . Thank you for responding . I'll probably wait it out . Yeah, my eyes feel dry sometimes and my lashes kept falling into my eyelid and I rub my eyes a lot . Could be all of those .

AOKAY 0 Posted January 12, 2020 I had a similar experience with what looked like a small blister in the inner corner of my right eye.  I could feel something there and kept checking it several time a day. After about a week when it did not go away I went to my ophthalmologist. She diagnosed it as a harmless cyst. Once I had a professional tell me it was a nothing I no longer paid any attention to it. This was a couple of years ago. It is still there, but I don’t care.

I'm so close to googling it too .
AOKAY 0 Posted February 29, 2020 No, Unicorn. Ophthalmologist did not offer any medicine. She did say that if it ever became very bothersome she could drain it like a blister but there was the possibility it might come back. I thanked her went home and promptly forgot about it. I’ve had a couple of annual checkups since then and although it is still there it has not grown or changed and I am not aware of it at all.
