  1. Does anyone feel awful when they wake up? For the past 4 days I've been waking up at like 5am feeling ok, but wide awake. Also I'm starving. So I would eat a banana and some apple sauce because I know I have to go back to sleep. After about an hour I'll go back to sleep for about 3 hours and then get up again. This is when I feel awful. Wake up still tired, weak, hungry. I don't know if I'm having nightmares while I'm sleeping, but I definitely feel awful for the first hour I'm awake.
  2. Thank you all. I did ok overall. Besides one nightmare I had. Had a good time and anxiety was minimal because I kept busy
  3. I'm going out a town for the first time since my horrible week of panic attacks in August. I'm a little nervous just because I don't want to have a panic attack away from home. I do however have the comfort that I will be around close family, and I'm excited to see them.
  4. Hi Claudia. Like Jonathan said anxiety can cause a variety of symptoms. The burning sensation being one of them. I had them during a week of awful panic attacks. I found that warm baths help a lot. Just try to relax you muscles. I know easier said than done, but hopefully you'll feel better soon
  5. That's good I'm doing better at the moment.
  6. Thanks, it just sucks because after I eat my heart rate goes up because of digestion. Makes me feel like I'm already in panic mode. I try not to eat a lot of heavy meals because of it. I'm feeling ok now, its just eating is a struggle.
  7. Hi, Wendi. I hope you're feeling better. I understand, this week has been hard on me as well. Maybe a warm bath would help with the tightness.
  8. I hate eating. Everytime I do I get bloated and my heart rate goes up. It usually leads to a panic attack. It feels like my heart is in my stomach. I haven't been able to talk to my doctor about my gerd or anything so my anxiety has been higher this week.
  9. It definitely could be that. Its just causing me to worry. When my heart beats fast it usually right out of sleep, even before I've had the time to move much. I know anxiety can trick me like that. It all hits me at once when I wake up.
  10. Do you wake up with a fast heartbeat? It usually only happens when I nap. I think it's because of how fast I wake up and in my groggy state I'm not aware of my surroundings. Sleeping is still a struggle for me at the moment with my anxiety so I'm taking more naps throughout the day. So I may just be noticing it more because of that?
  11. Thank you Wendi. I ended up making it post the panic attack this morning. I'm just really tired now. I hope you're ok for the next two weeks. I hate being alone so I understand.
  12. Woke up dizzy and my heart was pounding. Trying to go to church but really not feeling well. Panic attacks make me feel so sick. I'm still groggy from waking up so fast, but I'm still afraid. These suck...
  13. Yeah it definitely happens more often after a meal. Thanks for the reassurance
  14. Does it happen everyday? I get indigestion everyday. I joke with my friends that I could eat just a cracker and get it. I wish it would go away though, it just brings up anxiety about my heart because of the location.
  15. No, it's directly above my stomach slightly to the left. The pain isn't constant it's more of a twinge and goes away.
  16. It just a small random pain around the same area in my chest. It's just above my stomach. Sometimes it's sharp, and sometimes it is a dull pain. It comes and goes, it's more annoying than painful.
  17. Yes, it is very annoying. I think I'll talk to my Dr about getting a higher does for my gerd and heartburn. I haven't taken a hot bath for awhile, so maybe I'll do that. I hope your massage helps. I'd get one but I don't like people touching me that much haha.
  18. I have chest pain all the time. It's not horrible pain, but it happens every day. Does it ever stop? I feel like I've had it for over a year now. It's just hard not to think of my heart when I get them. I have gerd and heartburn which may contribute to some of the pain. I take meds for that. Maybe I should ask my Dr to up the prescription? I don't know...its just a frustrating symptom of anxiety.
  19. Thank you. I ended up taking a nap and feel less anxious about it. It makes more sense what you're saying. I was doing good not going to google for the last month. Somehow convinced myself it was ok last night lol.
  20. Thank you Wendi! You always have such encouraging replies. Anxiety is cruel, and so is Dr google. It's early in the morning so I'm gonna try to go do something to get my mind of it. Thanks again
  21. Ok, I did what I wasn't supposed to. I went to Dr. Google. I thought it wasn't a big deal because I was curious. I noticed my heart beat goes throughout my stomach and now I'm worried about my heart. Dr. Google brought up aneurysm. And I know logically for a 23 year old that isn't really common, but I'm worried about it. I hate feeling, or hearing my heartbeat because I always think there is something wrong with my heart.
  22. Thank you for the replies. I get it quite often. I do think it is from not getting enough sleep, because I always feel better after I wake up. Anxiety just keeps me up at night though and I don't always get the hours I need.
  23. Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone gets the fuzzy brain feeling. Like right now I have it. It may be because I'm tired. I'm not to anxious but it's make me worry enough to keep me awake.
  24. Great news Wendi, it's always a nice weight lifted off your shoulders with news like that. Glad your anxiety wasn't too bad over the weekend as well.
  25. I take meds, but they don't always work. It sucks because it does make my anxiety worse. Especially at night when I'm lying down. My anxiety is already bad enough at that time.
