I am kind of ' into that' , not to be confused with ' i do that' .  But I wish to/ want to / need to. I am trying to build as close to a free lifestyle as possible.  I am a horrible gardener so I am sure I can never grow my own food but I can raise cattle and I can grow trees pretty well. So I think I could live on beef and apples and pears in an emergency

Yeah, same here. I might start a container garden next year by the side of the house, but we'll see.

That is so amazing! Wish I could do that.   So you are a real cowboy - that's awesome.

What do you mean by free lifestyle? Like not paying for anything?

I do not raise cows now but I've raised horses before and my neighbors currently have a small herd of cattle grazing on my land. So what I should have said is ' i think i can raise cattle without a problem'.  I've planted all my trees and they're many years old now so I feel I can do the same with apple or pear trees. 

Yes I want my next home, which is in the planning phase now, to have its own well for free water and solar panels or a windmill for limited to free electricity. Then if I raise one cow every other year and a few fruit trees, I would be having very few living expenses.
