Help. Need talked down from er.

Recommended Posts

My anxiety levels have been pretty average latley. Get stressed here and there but not enough to give me panic attacks. Until just now. I was having a great day not thinking of anything that would give me anxiety. Then I ate and started getting bloated. I fell asleep and then woke up into a full blown anxiety attack. Heart racing, dizziness, arns and legs felt weak. I feel awful. As I'm writing this I'm feeling my symptoms going away, but I still have that fear. Its like I fogot how to deal with a panick attack because I haven't had one in a long time.

The thought of going to the hospital is there and I hate it.

I have woken up like that before.. Sometimes we wake but aren't fully awake yet and it just sets things off.. But just in your message the fact it started to calm or go away as you got up is the big ole neon sign we need that says I AM OK it was all just that anxiety.... So tell that doubt to shut up.... you are in fact fine.. it is all classic anxiety.. THE intense fear and then it settles.. YOU ARE OK!!!!!

They never are fun or seem easy to deal with but guess what you DID ... don't beat urself up about it.. :)

Thank you. I feel better, it just sucks because it feels so awful in the moment. My brain can't just shut up for a moment and think rationally enough to tell myself its only anxiety.
