  1. It can definitely be an indicator of an OC behaviour. Especially if you feel the NEED to do it to avoid something from happening. I have a similar problem with this when it comes to what time it is (constantly need to check the time, even if I have nothing time-sensitive happening). I would definitely look into the source of this, as shaun mentioned, to see if you can trace where it originated in your psyche.
  2. Bathing 3 times a day is definitely not good for your skin, but I understand your need to complete it. Can you try maybe shortening each shower until you are able to drop one? Washing that often will strip your skin of the natural oils that keep it soft and healthy, oils that cannot be replicated with body lotions. I definitely understand the locking the door, I constantly check the door lock as soon as it's dark outside. Every time I walk by the door, as well, I have to check and make sure it's locked.
  3. Hey all! I'm new here (obviously ) and wanted to introduce myself. I'm 25, married with an 8 year old daughter. I have bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, and anxiety/panic issues (not fully diagnosed yet). I love art, music, reading and writing, and I would love to be a successful freelance writer some day. Thanks!
